My husband and I had eaten at Buffet City many times before COVID 19, but we hadn’t been there in the past few years. We really didn’t know what to expect when we walked into the restaurant yesterday after church, but we were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted and seated right away; our hostess and waitress were very sweet and the service was great. My husband likes the food that’s already prepared, but I like to choose from the raw food buffet and have the chef cook it fresh. We enjoyed the food—probably a little too much—because we both went back for seconds. I usually like to get the hot and sour soup, but this particular time I didn’t think it tasted as good as I remembered from the past. Maybe it was an off day for the soup. Other than that, we were impressed at how clean the restaurant was and they really have a great selection of food—even for the pickiest eater. I’m so glad this restaurant survived, and it appears to be flourishing, too. Yay! God bless y’all!

For the most part food is alright I would rather just heat it up on the hibachi everything else is bland. Also make sure you tel them your kids age my kids are tall because I’m over 6’ so they got assumed to be older than they were and they tried to age my kids one as an adult and my 2 year old as a 6-10 year old.

If I could give this 0 stars for the food alone, I would!! The worst Chinese buffet place I’VE EVER experienced. We went there during a munchie craving, so I figured even if it’s mediocre it’ll taste good anyway! Boy, I was wrong!! Got there at 6pm, just as dinner was being set out. Food itself LOOKED decent, limited selection for a Monday evening. Habachi food sitting out raw on ice. Soup sitting in a hot well tub, rather than a pot. ALL FRIED FOOD was horrible. Very floury and light in color, which tells me their oil is old and if they cook it long enough it will look burnt. So they undercooked it, I spit out the sweet n sour chicken as the batter tasted uncooked. The cheese wontons, again weren’t cooked all the way. I took 1 bite of everything I tried, didn’t finish 1 plate. Waitess asked me “you done already???” Of course! Was horrible. Anyone who likes this place, obviously has never had good Chinese to have standards and or doesn’t know what good food tastes like.. or you’re elderly. I didn’t complain, I paid the $35 for 2 and a drink, tipped the waitress and will not be back.

The variety of food was good. Everything is well maintained and looked after. Sushi bar was great and had amazing flavor. Staff was very good in buffet area. Pudding was really good.

Went in w my husband and 2 children. They seated us right next to the cashier because upon entering you can tell they were judging right away. (My husband and I are of color, young and have faces full of tattoos) We got our food, which tasted old and like it had been sitting out all day, and upon leaving one of the waitresses stopped us from leaving accusing us of not paying. We had already paid our original server yet were being harassed before leaving. My family and I will NEVER be returning for HORRIBLE FOOD OR SERVICE. Didn’t get asked if we needed refills or anything the whole time we were there either. Overall disgusting experience. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star

Wow. How does not everyone know this place. Everything people complain about such places about, the exemplify the opposite. I almost felt like they were putting me on. Not busy(how‽), but everything fresh and good quality, with stuff still actively being discarded and replaced way before I would have myself.

Food was not hot! Everything was just warm. I’m sure it didn’t meet health regulations!

Before i get into the review, the dinner buffet costs $13.99. I also got a pot of hot tea which costs $1.99. I couldn’t find the price online, nor in the store, before I got my bill. So if anyone is wondering about price as I was, hopefully that helps. Sushi is surprisingly really good. The rest of l the buffet is about what you’d expect . Decent for the price.

Decent food at a good price. Definitely a place to go when you’re hungry and aren’t looking to break the bank.
