Lived in this area for most of my life and always heard how great Hawk’s was but never been until some co-workers wanted to go while I was in town for work. The crawfish were ok but it seemed most people were here for the booze and crawfish experience. If that is your thing then you should check them out. If not, there are better crawfish joints in the area.

This place had the best crawfish In central Louisiana. Always the cleanest and biggest crawfish. It is out in the middle of nowhere but it’s worth every mile it takes to get there. If you like boiled crawfish and haven’t been to Hawk’s then you need to try it.

Best boiled crawfish EVER!!!! Almost a religious experience. Cleanest crawfish, super sweet meat, well seasoned. Had the special which included a generous pound of boiled shrimp as well. They were just as good as the crawfish.

I’m eating just about every restaurant you can think of in South Louisiana, not taste it better crawfish etouffee here. All crawfish was exquisite. The shrimp was fabulous. The breadfruit is unbelievable. Thank you for a wonderful meal, service and a good time

I’m sorry but this is not the best crawfish ever. This place disappointed me for the second time. Ordered hot or extra spicy with a group at 5 pounds at a time( big group) the seasoning is on the outside. Anyone from Louisiana knows that the season does not go on the outside. And then there is no spice. They serve the spicy with a jalapeno ♀️ I guess that’s what makes it spicy. Don’t get me wrong. They are a nice size. But they do not soak them. Soaking is the key. Period….cook them in plain water and salt. Then soak for 5 to 10 min in seasoning pot. And try a different season. Their season has sugar. Ain’t nothing spicy when u add sugar
