Loved, loved, loved our experience here. Luca, the owner and chef, made us this amazing burger (only $19), and my friend had the chicken pot pie (equally delicious). Varied menu with lots of options, casual laid back atmosphere, lots of food for the price, super friendly staff that made sure we were happy.

We had dinner at GP Diner on a Friday at around 6 pm and it wasn’t very crowded. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. We didn’t try anything off the diner menu and went straight to the pizza and gelato. The pizza and gelato are just as good as Gelati & Pecatti in North Park. They had a lot of choices and everything was served warm, quickly, and tasted great! I would definitely recommend coming here for Roman style pizza and gelato. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot so you have to look around.

Amazing organic pizza and gelato. We always can’t wait to go back for another time! It’s also lovely to bring your dog, we bring our pup along and he’s been getting the best treats. Last time he had a Puppochino, his first one yet and he loved it. We can highly recommend it, also for the wonderful baked goods and the great atmosphere, you feel you are on a little trip to Italy!

We stopped in for a quick slice on a Monday evening. Our favorite is the buratta but we haven’t had one we didn’t like yet ! Super cute little spot, great addition to the neighborhood. Hoping to come back soon to check out the brunch and gelato. Gluten free, veggie and vegan pizza available

Visited first time Sunday night, and desperately wanted to like this walk-in diner. But were disappointed at the two young staffers at the counter who were not only standoffish and tactless, but were too hasty to take orders and reticent to answer any questions. Upon ordering, we politely asked to lightly cook the slices, not too crusty-browned. Neither they made an eye contact nor responded to our request. Lo and behold, they charred the crust on both spicy Arrabbiata sauce and all 4 Parmigiana squares. Only the 3 Tacchino turkey squares were not blackened, though its crust was rock hard to enjoy the taste or texture. Their ineptitude, the apparent lack of concern and possibly lack of proper training is why they burned the pizzas. I let the guy know who brought the pizza-boards to our table, that even after specifically requested to lite-bake, you burnt it. All he said was, Enjoy! And high tailed it. To already small pizza slices, they cut those down in half-squares and bring them spread out in long wood-planks, which is why when overheated it dries & hardens up the crust even more. They weren’t willing to communicate otherwise we would have told them not to cut it in snack-sized squares. Paid total: $56 for 8-slices, yet still hungry after force scraped to eat only the salvaged toppings with a fork.

We were visiting from Phoenix last year and we randomly walked past this gelato truck – Gelati & Peccati. So glad it was there, it was the best we’ve ever had. INSANE flavor, with tons of unique offerings. Highly recommend both the Lavender w/ Rosewater and the Cherry Hazelnut Chocolate Chip.

Great options to suit any appetite. I’ve had the slices, gelato and has not disappointed. They have better staff now compared to earlier opening last year.

Great place for coffee, pizza and gelato! Different tastes of pizza with a crispy crust and delicious toppings. I wished for more vegetarian options but meat lovers will have plenty of options. They come in a cute little to go box (2 fit in here) and they were super tasty! Easy to eat with one hand. There is a nice little courtyard where you can sit in the shade and wind, there is space to sit inside and soon the diner will open for breakfast and lunch. They just opened and were super friendly, explained me the dough process and pizza arrives super quick. Will definitely come back. It was delicious!! Please make more non -meat options with artichokes :))
