At our Columbus, OH location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Great service from Tynisha and the girl on drive thru (didn’t get her name). Tynisha allowed us to sit inside and eat even though it was close to closing and said we could with a smile. Her other coworkers were not so “pleased” about us arriving so close to closing time. I didn’t know they closed at 9 and it had been a long long time since I had eaten there. Anyways, I don’t know if they meant for us to hear their displeasure or not, but I did. We were done by 9, and the drive thru didn’t close until 10, so I don’t understand why they were bothered by our arrival time, which was still prior to closing.

Awesome pure awesomeness on point the lady was kind and sweet I’d go dack again definitely obviously it’s fast food so nothing spectacular on the menu. But the way I was treated you can’t teach. That’s how you keep customers. Even though she was super busy I didn’t feel like I was on her time. She even wanted to give me a drink for my wait. I said your patience and awareness do you thang girl.
