Service was bad. Ordered the Lobster Bisque soup an it was cold. Took forever with drinks. There were only 4 total tables being served an still couldn’t get our stuff in a timely fashion an hot. Ordered the prime rib an it was all day plus asked for mushrooms an got very little. Friend orders the tone with mushrooms an onions. Didn’t get the onions an also very little mushrooms. Steaks had no flavor. Won’t go back there

The food was great. I am a very picky person and I liked how the food was presented to me. I never had the salmon cider but how it tasted was great. The rice was fluffy and the salmon was moist and tender and you did not need a knife to cut it. The cider complemented the sauce

We went here tonight because we usually go here every year or so for our anniversary but not anymore! The service was absolutely lousy! The seating area was cold. They waitress was very slow bringing things to our table compared to another Waiter that had more tables. The waitress was not friendly at all. She never brought the wine to the table & I finally told her to just forget it because we were halfway through with the meal. I was really very disappointed. Never again. I could get out of there fast enough!!

Have been coming here for the past 17 years or more. The owner is very nice and very welcoming. I always get the wild caught salmon or the fillet and both are always fantastic! Even though I moved out to Clarendon Hills I still like to stop by and get something. Hopefully going there tonight but for some reason their phone system isn’t working.

I’m giving them two stars because the food was great however I’m incredibly disappointed in their hospitality. I ordered the vegetarian strudel dinner which comes with steak fries and a side of soup or salad. At first I asked the waitress if she could substitute the steak fries for the greek potatoes to which she replied that the meal doesn’t come with fries. I then showed her on the menu it stating that it did. She then informed me that they don’t do substitutions. When my dinner came there were no fries so my brother asked if she could please bring the fries that come with the dinner. She then brought the fries but informed me quite loudly in front of my family that she was bringing me fries even though the dinner doesn’t come with fries. I normally don’t write bad reviews but I’m so offended that a waitress would talk down to someone over such a cheap side, especially when it was written in the menu. If she took the time to look at the menu she would know she was wrong. I even looked it up online and their menu states that the dinner comes with fries as well. I’d post a picture of the menu if this review allowed it. They should educate their employees on how to read a menu or better yet, how to talk to someone with respect.

My husband and I decided to try this place despite the mediocre reviews hoping to support the community restaurant and possibly to book a private party in near future. We came at 5, 3 other tables were occupied, our server was friendly and offered substitutes to accommodate smaller size plates. We had calamari for appetizer and that was the first disappointment as it had no flavor. Frozen cooked at home tastes better. We had to ask for our bread as it was overlooked at the beginning, and salad came shortly after. Over half hour passed while my husband got impatient and hungry and went up the the back to question the wait time. Eventually food came and it was nothing to even to look at. I had salmon which was standard, garlic mashed over salted and carrots with green beans which had no flavor or seasoning. My husband had a filet minion that was supposed to be medium raw and was over seared on exterior with a double baked potato over done with butter and same vegetables as I… my husband loves stake, however less then a third eaten later he couldn’t eat it no more and lost his appetite. We made the waitress aware of our dissatisfaction and we were not looking for a price adjustment at all just to inform her of our experience. Nothing or no one else had come to apologize and we spend $120 for our meal and left. Definitely would not recommend or go back!!!

We hosted a baby shower for 30 people in one of the private rooms on a Saturday afternoon. We had family style and it was delicious. Everyone especially liked the chicken. The servers did a great job. Good experience.

Normally I would rate them higher but this afternoon was not a good experience. As we were finishing our meal the management caused a scene with one of the better waitresses & fired her for standing up for.herself. From everything we saw & heard they were totally wrong. I was embarrassed for the waitress. They need to bring Annabelle back & they totally owe her an apology. I will not go back until they bring her back.

Appetizers were very good bread was nice and hot… I ordered their special porter steak asked medium rare came out super dry charred and no flavor got a pocket of water shot in the mouth as if it was frozen at some point and wasn’t thawed right. Overall for how much we paid I could have stayed home and make that same steak…..
