Never had an issue with the employees or the food, all great, but they are not reliably open. Attached a photo of what their current hours are but the door will often be locked for at least an hour or more at random times during the day with the lights on & no staff to be seen. Maybe short staffing? Putting up a written sign “closed until -time-“ or “on break” maybe to put people at ease when it’s locked? See confused/frustrated customers, including myself, come and go often because of this.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant!!! Wife ordered online. When she got home sub was wrong missing meat, cheese and bacon. Not toasted either!!! Just pure laziness or worse theft!!! Drove myself all the way back to see they closed before 2:30pm… but workers there and no management according to person that answered door. Refused to fix sandwich and or a refund so I could go elsewhere. Offered no assistance and when I tried to explain it was what I eating for the day she said not my problem and slammed door in face!!! I will not be returning, I wasn’t mad until the “I don’t care and slammed door in face”.

Out of wheat bread. Asked which sandwiches I could use my $5.99 footlong coupon on and was told any of them. Ordered turkey cali and out of mozzarella cheese. Used coupon at check out and it was not eligibile for my sandwich! Very frustrating experience at a place I have frequented. This will probably be my last experience here.

So since I moved from my hometown to chapel hill I have ordered subway twice. I previously worked at subway in my hometown for over 2 years so I know you can mess up sometimes but the first time I ordered they didn’t toast the sub, decided to put lettuce on it instead of spinach, put extra mayo when I asked for light and they gave me the wrong kind of cookie:( and now tonight I didn’t even order a sub, I was just checking how much I had left on my gift card and then left the site but DoorDash called me saying they had a delivery for me. I got the order from the driver and it had my previous order written down perfectly on the receipt and said I paid with it from my gift cards. When I opened it, it wasn’t toasted and there were tomatoes on it. I know that they may not have a toaster but at my subway we call the customers and let them know that before hand. I also don’t know how they accidentally put lettuce and tomatoes on a sub when it’s not written on a order ticket . The manager offered to let me drive down there tonight and pick up a different sub but I do not have a car seeing as freshmen aren’t allowed one here at UNC. The manager was nice but I definitely don’t recommend doing online orders. They are less likely to mess up if you go in 🙂

This was my first visit to this location. They wasn’t prepared for customer’s at lunch time. The sandwich I wanted the meat wasn’t ready. The fill manager was very apologetic and gave me a discount on my meal.

My son and I had some of the most delicious Subway sandwiches at this locale that we’ve ever had: the Subway Club. This was our first visit and it turned out to be an unexpected surprise. They now offer extra meat and cheese in addition to the double meat; I selected the extra meat and it was inexpensive but incredibly filling and delicious. In addition, I asked that they toast my sandwich and that turned out to be a great choice, too.

The poor girl was working by herself, I guess they didn’t expect a crowd…at noon. She did a great job and was very apologetic. 30 mins later we got our Sub (although they were out of meatballs and a few other items). SHAME ON THE MANAGER/OWNER. BE PREPARED OR HAVE A BACKUP PLAN.
