It was late at night when I went into this cute Italian restaurant. I just ordered what I usually would when I would go to any other Italian restaurant, Lasagna and a salad. I also got a pizza for my family that was meeting up with me. And I really enjoyed my dinner, the Lasagna was very filling but quite good, the salad was simple yet delicious, and I had a good time in general. The staff was kind and funny. And the only “problem” I had was that the table wasn’t clean. Overall, I would go again.

This restaurant is very close from our home and Monica (the pretty / cheerful server) is awesome. I am giving this 5-star rating mainly because of her. She is always smiling and very courteous. Indeed, she’s pretty inside-out.

Discovered this gem when visiting Harrahs for my bday 2 years ago, make it a mission to get down here from OC at least every couple of months. Me and my boyfriends favorite Italian food restaurant. Service is amazing as well as the food!

As we were driving in the area for work we passed by this little Italian spot which seemed to be in the middle of small town USA. I was like, we need to turn around and try that spot. Probably the best decision we made that day. It’s a Hispanic family that owns it and let me say, being Italian and knowing Italian food, Portinos is on point and so justice to Italian cuisine with a little bit of their twist to it. The flavors are dynamic in smell and taste. I went with a simple capellini pasta with sauce and meats balls with a side of sausages as pictured in my review. My co-worker ordered an Alfredo sauce mixed with a red sauce topped with sausages. Very different taste profiles. I chose to keep it simple and let the sauce speak authenticity. Let me say Portinos didn’t disappoint! The sauce is fantastic! Not overly acidic at all and well balanced in flavor. I was impressed with how they played their food. Very happy with this experience. Happy eating!!

We just moved to the area and have already ordered pizza from here twice. The pizzas are delicious, with a savory sauce, and good crust. The place is family run. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. We have yet to sit down for dinner there, but both times we picked up pizza, the restaurant was packed.

We have been driving by Portinos for over 20 years and finally went on Friday night. The food was very flavorful and tasty. Love the presentation of our meals. Our server was amazing and very friendly and efficient. I am definitely going back again. Thank you for making our dining experience one to always remember.

I love a mom and pop restaurant, and places like Portinos is why. We arrived around 8 pm, the booths around the perimeter of the dining room were full, but tables were open. We were sat quickly by the only server. Even though she must have been busy, she gave us attentive relaxed service that I appreciate. The lobster bisque is really good but the homemade sausage is worth coming in for. As my friend said “it has the kind of light smokey flavor that gives you memories”. Wow, right? The man cooking not only brought us our food but tried to give us a pizza as we were leaving because my friend is too skinny! Haha! Ample parking on the side and in the back. And they have take out.
