Angelo’s delivered my pizza to the wrong house – CONFIRMED by their delivery driver when he described the wrong house, and when I asked for a refund and insisted I didn’t want to wait for another pizza to be made, I was hung up on. So I went to the store, and at first when I asked the manager to show me on my phone where they called me, as they claimed, I admit I was a bit loud. I agreed to calm down, and was kicked from the establishment with the threat of law enforcement (though they wouldn’t do anything to me, as I agreed to be calm and was lessening my volume)

I’m a lover of subs. I’ve been to the one in bangor and when I saw there was one in old town close to me, I had to try it out. My first time was alright except for the price. Not sure why it’s more expensive at this one compared to bangor, but I shrugged it off. Second time coming in after a few weeks, I got the same order. This is where it got annoying. I was there for about 15-20 minutes. It was not busy at all. It was actually quite dead. So the order should have been 10 min top. 3 minutes for the fries and 5 -8mins to make the sub. Finally got my order and took about 1-2 min to get home. Got home, and fries were cold and soggy. Sub was still hot, but that was soggy as hell as well. Judging from this, I’d say my order sat for 5-7 minutes after being done before they called it. I’m sorry, but this is just pathetic. Absolutely zero reason for this to happen when it was not busy.

Ordered 2 pizzas and mozzarella sticks but it never got delivered. When we called about it the delivery guy said he delivered it and described a completely different house. Then they lied and said they called us before delivery, we never got a call. We asked for a manager who was very disrespectful, basically called us liars and then hung up on us. So, we drove there to sort this out. We showed them that they never called us and the manager went straight to “get out. We will call the cops if you don’t leave”. We said we are and will calm down, but the manager kept saying to leave or they will call the cops. So we left. We will be contacting our bank for a full refund for pizza and mozzarella sticks there were never delivered to us. Hope whoever got our pizza likes/liked it. We will NEVER be ordering from here again.

Place is exceptionally clean with bottles of hand sanitizer at each table. Pizza was excellent, but the hand-tossed crust was worth the trip all by itself. Service was lacking because it consisted of counter service only. Again, great pizza. I’ll definitely go back.

Delivery times suck. Sends out 6 different orders for one trip of deliveries. Hot food doesn’t stay hot or warm in a vehicle for over an hour. Very disappointing.

The food is terrible. My cheeseburger tasted like something like horsemeat flavored with onion powder. Absolutely disgusting. Last time, we had calzones. Terrible also. One cheeseburger with fries.. $14.95. bangor angeloes is almost half that price… And to top things off, old town angeloes has hot water shut off in restrooms because they are too cheap to allow customers to clean up to eat. That’s quite messed up. My full plate was delivered to the takeout counter where the employees turned their heads the other way, so i slid it under the cashier lady’s nose and told them it was disgusting. Terrible food in old town maine. It is everywhere in this god forsaken town.burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me. (Should have learned my lesson).one thing is for sure-you lost my business and patronage and I’ll be anxious to pass this along to anyone and everyone i come in contact with going forward. You have hollered about losing money…. You need to lose your business. Oh, did i mention the massive amount of grease tracked out of your restaraunt at the customer entrance? Its black and quite nasty fer sure. Goodbye old town angelos, i hope the health department pays ya a visit. Maybe I’ll be the one to place that call. Ill be watchin. Enjoy the $36 ya swiped. Delivered to wrong house, refused refund. Hung up the phone when they refused to acknowledge the description of the house they delivered to did not fit mine. Threaten to call the cops when I went in to show them it was the wrong house and they never called(which they also claimed) would avoid this place as they are clearly shady thieves, from other reviews I’ve now read we are not the only ones, wish I had done more research. Places like this give pizza places a bad name. This is why people don’t eat local. This shady stuff wouldn’t happen at a big chain like Domino’s.

I tried it assuming it would adequate to good. Food is phenomenal. Evreything from the Carbonera to the Lasanga to the Pizza. Oh, and the Salads! Very much enjoyed the experience and it really is lovely
