Have been going here for years and always enjoyed the GTZ chicken and loved their spring rolls. Went yesterday and the spring rolls were AWFUL! NOT THE SAME PRODUCT! The chicken had very little meat almost all fried chicken skin. Also the dish always had a great spicy heat to it. Not now very bland – same with the pepper steak dish that I ordered. Did it change owners? Spent 30 and got zero.

Over 10 years eating at this spot which should tell you enough. Went in today for S&S PK/Ch and I can say it’s just as good as ever. There was a small problem of miscommunication with my order but they resolved it professionally. The young lady at register was patient and understanding. As was the gentleman that took care of everything. All in all, still my go-to spot for take out! They really suffer because of location but they are low key one of the best takeout restaurants.

The lady owner was very rude. I made a large order to pick up and she quoted me a price. Then when I arrived there she said a different price higher then what she quoted me orginally over the phone. She said my associate called her over the phone to add something to the order. I was unaware of this and she gave me a really rude facial expression like I should have known this. Then I paid cash and didn’t see the sign that had been on display for months about when you pay cash you get a free egg roll. I mentioned that and once again she looked at me with a nasty face and didnt even aknowlege what I said. One of my orders was a lunch combination special that is supossed to come with an egg roll. Guess what NOTHING. She is a very nasty lasy and as much as I love the food their I WILL NOT BE coming back!

Visiting Williamsburg, VA from Chicago, IL and checked out the closest Chinese restaurant to Vacation Village. The order the lunch General Tso Chicken with fried rice. The food was just ok. The General Tso Chicken was overcooked and the freshness of it being prepared wasn’t there for me.

Food has been great for years. Service is good and fast. Prices are reasonable. I’ve been eating here for 10+ years with very little disappointment. I’d like to respond to the other reviewer. Unfortunately, a lot of folks are dishonest.. especially now in desperate times. That is certainly not to say you are but businesses must protect themselves from this happening. I’ve worked in kitchens/restaurant for 20 years and I’ve seen folks many times say their order is incorrect to get more food. Once again, I am DEFINITELY not implying you were doing this. However, you have to try and understand a businesse’s perspective. If they asked you to bring food back you should have and let them deal with it. You did not think of this because you weren’t doing anything dishonest. Restaurants have to, unfortunately. They would have thrown it out but would have known it was honest. To try to imply they re-serve food is absurd and hopefully came from your anger and not true senses. During these times let’s try to see all perspectives and not just our own. Golden China is the BEST in town for fast casual Chinese takeout. (I really wish you all would open back up on Mondays though)

The lady was was beyond rude she asked me when I called back to add peas to an a order why I kept calling back I said because I didn’t know if the person wanted the peas and carrots with the order because he said you could only get peas and carrots mixed then she told me to hurry up because it was already done yet still had to wait when I got there so unprofessional it’s rediculous
