This place is one of those rate places where you can find a taste a gooood Tamale. I was impressed about the consistency and flavor. Plus great price and service. Thank you Tamale Street

I kept trying to remind myself to take a picture of the beautiful tamales (pre-me tearing into it) but I couldn’t do it. I just kept eating them. They were so fresh and PACKED full of meat! We got the pork tamales and the beef tamales and the pork were our absolute favorite, but both were delicious. The beans and rice were also phenomenal. Absolutely recommend.

Nice little clean place. A little over priced but I guess it’s the location.

The tamales were great! Very soft so might not be for you if you like them dryer. The salsa Verde was also incredibly good. Price is a bit higher than you would like for a tamale, but the protein ones are filled with protein so the value is kind of there. The only downside is that because they are a bit of a small store, sometimes they will be out of stock of the other non-tamale items as they’re too busy making enough tamales to meet their current demand.

The food was great! Customer service was good and the presentation of the food was good as well. Nice clean atmosphere. it’s a little small, but has out door seating. Lil pricy for tamales but, it’s a business what do you expect.

Read some reviews about it being closed when it’s supposed to be opened, Here on a Sunday morning, and guess what, of course it’s closed. Was going to try them out, but I guess not. Hate driving somewhere to try something new and this happens. Get it together Tamale st. You are closed Monday and Tuesday already, do your maintenance then. Think about your customers PLEASE!!

This was the second time I’ve been there. The first time was 5 stars all the way. This time we called ahead to order because we had a 45 minute ride to get there. When we got there they were out of what we ordered but said they put fresh ones in and that it would take 20 minutes. Fine, we dealt with that. When we came back after 20 minutes they said it would be another 20 minutes as they weren’t done yet. At that point we weren’t happy but figured since we drove 45 minutes to get there, we’d wait. They were done after that but to have to wait 40 minutes for food we called in for was a little ridiculous. So my star rating here is an average of my 2 experiences. I would like to say though that the tamales were EXCELLENT both times so they have that going for them.

OMG this place is bomb!! I’ve been going at least once a week since I had my first taste every month they have a new featured tamale and some tamales do good enough they keep them around. I love the rice and beans they have. This salsa is delicious and they have a nice variety of tamales. If you want anything in particular I would call ahead and place an order. The prices are extremely fair and you get a very good value for your money which is hard to find these days. If you like tamales and don’t want to wait until Christmas this is definitely your place

This is the second time that I have come to this place in the middle of the day during what are supposed to be their business hours, and this place is closed. This time, they even left the open sign out, causing me to further waste my time by getting out of my car and walking up to a locked door. At least the first time this happened to me, I could see closed sign from the street, so I didn’t even pull in to the parking lot. I wish I could say something about the food, but unfortunately, they have been closed every time I come they are closed.

These are the best tasting tamales. The masa is soft, moist. The filling is full. The tamales are big. You will not be disappointed. You must try them all. I’ve had the pork, chicken; excellent.
