This is a beautiful restaurant. Came here to celebrate a birthday. We sat outside in the garden and it was perfect. The lighting and mood was very warm and inviting. We brought a few bottles of wine and champagne. It was 6 of us. The menu is very small but they did have daily special that the waiter was more than happy to tell us about. Thats how we got the delicious and crispy fried calamari. The sauce it came with, we were fighting over. Very delicious. So was the chicken parm that is served on a cutting board. Very fun! My favorite was my dish the gnocchi with short ribs. Amazing! Every bite was just so good. This would be a wonderful place for a date night. As a group it can get pricey. But the birthday event was worth it. Would love to come back and try some other dishes or just get the same dish again.

Millburn has some good Italian options, but La Pergola is by far the best. The service is excellent. Every app and entree we’ve had has been our favorite version of that item we’ve gotten anywhere (especially the burrata, arugula salad and eggplant parm special app), but La Pergola’s chicken parm special is truly a standout. It’s pounded extremely thin, the breading is light and crispy, the sauce is the best I’ve had anywhere, and the cheese on top is perfectly torched. The portion is so generous, they serve it on a wooden cutting board. The gorgeous presentation is complete with a sprig of rosemary. It’s the best chicken parm in New Jersey, hands down. We come here for special occasions, like Valentine’s Day and birthdays, and we have never been disappointed. The food, ambiance (you have to see their beautiful outdoor garden) and service can’t be beat.

This place was amazing. We came here for my daughter’s 1st Holy Communion lunch and the food was amazing. The Chicken Parm was out of this world, and would come here again for it. My kid’s chicken tenders were another mind blowing experience, they somehow made chicken tenders even better than I thought.

Beautiful outdoor seating and they were so accommodating to our dog! Quick service with very welcoming knowledgeable wait staff. The food was incredible, we got the chicken parm special and the spinach fettuccini with mushrooms and filet minion tips. Both delicious and unique.

Hands down one of the best Italian restraints this side of the Atlantic. Original Italian dishes made with fresh ingredients and excellent. There is both indoor and outdoor dining. Dining on the back lawn area is dreamy and romantic – it’s the white twinkle lights that create a hint of romance under the stars. I’ve been so many times I’ve tried everything on the menu and have never passed up a special…like their chicken parm! It’s absolutely delicious and there’s always leftovers. Great restaurant for groups, date night or a romantic dinner like Valentine’s Day. Not to be missed!
