This is typical NY style pizza with a crispy crust and lots of good grease. The reason I didn’t give five stars on food is that it lacks the flavor in the toppings and the salty cheese you’d expect from NY pizza.

The pizza is almost always great. The crust/bread is the strength of the pizza. The cheese is solid, the sauce is hit or miss. Overall, for DC this pizza is above average- although it sometimes depends on who is making it (that’s my impression). The service across MGM is typically spotty anyway. So its comes down to the luck of the draw (no pun intended). But when it is on, it hits the mark.

Worst pizza place ever they charge 4.49 for a slice of pepperoni or a slice of pepperoni & sausage together thats what the prices listed are. I ordered a slice of sausage only that was already made and they charged me 5.49 and couldn’t explain to me why less meat was a dollar more also I asked for it to be well done so the crust is a little bit crispier and the oven handler kept removing it every 2 minutes from the oven against my orders to let it stay in longer. Also the pizza was a 4 out of 10 taste wise I will not be returning here ever.

My 5 stars are strictly for Jacob. Last night or should I say this morning around 3:30am there was a high demand for pizza. It was busy and it was my first time at this pizza parlor. Jacob assisted me and his customer service was excellent. I couldn’t decide what I wanted, but he was very patient. He had also greeted me when I got to the counter. After placing my order, I inquired about the bread I seen so many customers ordering and he stated they were knots. When I asked to sample one, he replied sure. The pizza and knot were good. Jacob stood out to me not only because he gave me great customer service, but because I seen him give that same customer service to others while I ate. Thanks again Jacob!!! Hopefully, you will rub off on some of the other employees there starting with the cashier.
