I’ve gone here ever since I was little. I still remember when the grandma tried to teach me how to use chopsticks as a little kid…that was so sweet of her! The other Chinese place has the Mongolian grill, but this one has the BEST buffet food. Sue and the staff are always so friendly. She always recognizes me and cares about her customers. Sometimes if I’m a little short on change, she’ll just wave me on anyway.

Very good meal. There could have been a couple of the choices that would have been better if they were hot. They had some dishes and sauce that were great. I will be going back there again. $25 for 2 people which for a buffet and the food selection to me this price was good.

This place does not have a great selection of food. The cookie tasted stale. The ice cream machine was not working and when I asked one of the staff she told me she would tell the manager. She later on brought me strawberry ice cream which clearly was kept in the fridge for so long cause it had ice on it. Plus I had not asked for “one scoop “ of . Not worth $12!

Since Lafayette does not have an Asian buffet that I know of, my husband and I traveled down to Frankfort to check out Great China Buffet. It has the typical food you would except, which is great for us since that’s exactly what we wanted. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. We had a great overall experience and would definitely drive the 40 mins to eat there again.

I used to come here before Covid hit and their food was good. But I ate there last weekend and the food was horrible. It didn’t look appealing at all. The egg drop soup smelled awful like it had been used over and over days before I came. The food selection was low and it just didn’t look good. That salad bar is pathetic. They got rid of their soft serve machine and just has big tubs of ice cream for you to scoop yourself. How sanitary is that!??? You don’t know who’s hands are in there. Its just not safe at all. The restaurant needs updated and redone. Tables and chairs were dirty. I will never ever eat here again! Go somewhere else. Don’t waste your money on this disgusting buffet! They seriously need to be shut down.
