If you’re in maui and trying to eat on a budget, this place is the best choice! The food is delicious and quick. Mini plates are huge and only cost $10 I recommend the chicken katsu curry. Yum! One of my all time favorites, they have it all over in Oahu as well. The prices are so good for food in Kihei.

First chance to eat Hawaiian bbq and sad to say the combo plate I got is a disgrace. Dry meat stacked on top of inedible ribs. Worst meal I’ve had in decades. Otherwise Hawaii is amazing. Also their masubi sucks. Had one that was home made and it was bliss.

Sought out a local quick take out meal, and man what a disappointment! I got the pulled pork combo and the every thing on the plate was incredibly bland and tasteless—Visitors don’t bother with this place.

I really do enjoy L&L for the plates, the good is tasty! I highly recommend Katsu Chicken Curry plate! I particularly order it double rice, also would recommend asking for extra curry sauce!

You need to specify that you want your cold green salad in another container and no mushy rice. The green salad was shoved under half of the shrimp. Yes all that is in the picture on the lid side came from the other side. The shrimp was delicious as for the rest it was a little disappointing. Bite squad did the delivery with efficiency and followed safe protocol.

I asked for the kalua pig and cabbage and laulau on their own, as I had never tried them before (first time in Maui) and it was a great experience! Very tasty and quite cheap! The staff was friendly too.

Ok tasting, not a ton of flavor. I asked for a little more sauce and they charge extra, which they only give you a couple tiny sauce cups which aren’t even full. Mac salad was a bit bland, need seasoning.

I ordered a mini-beef curry to go and when I picked it up they had lined the take out plate with foil. Not to many establishments do this, so kudos to L&L in Kihei for being ahead of the curve. Not to mention their beef curry is Da Best! Their rice is always consistentantly good and their mac salad is “Mac-daddy” ono!
