I had an invite at Maggiano’s Little Italy. My experience was pleasant except I was expecting Little Italy to be more of an Italian Piazza or an experience of a restaurant more than a family diner.

Service was very friendly but super slow. Pastas where very heavy on sauce and did not taste authentic.

Finnaly had a chance to stop by and try this place. The service was amazing although the food did take a little long to come out but they were pretty slammed with to go orders. Forgot what I ordered but is really tasty and the calamari appetizer was a great start.

I didn’t like the pasta sauce. The wine for $44.00/bottle was not worth the money. The salad came out of a bag and the vinegrett was mediocre.

Is Garduno’s not the best little Italian restaurant in Orange County? Calamari, vegetable lasagna, gamberi al diavolo. Delectable salads, beer/wine, and dessert. Go during off hours, as this place gets busy and it’s not that big.

My husband and I were on our way home and hungry. No plan, just drove past and decided on Italian. Oh my goodness the atmosphere was as if you just ducked into a slice of Italy. The food was excellent. A wonderful surprise. Family owned with the sons of owners cooking and serving. Thank you.

A long time favorite. It’s what a small family-run restaurant should be. Consistent quality and friendly atmosphere.

I had the lasagna and my friend had the chicken alfredo. The chicken was very delicious and seasoned very well. My lasagna was really good as well. The tiramisu was great. They make it in-house and was both sense and light. If you’re in Costa Mesa, stop in for a bite. The service here is very friendly.
