Amazing food and friendly service. The club sandwich is wonderful. Cinnamon rolls with 3 inches of icing. The smells alone in this place give them 5 stars.

This little spot is a must try. Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and enjoy a real home made meal in a beautiful area. There’s even has a bed and breakfast upstairs so that you can stay and enjoy the quaintness of the town. It doesn’t hurt that the desserts are ALL my favorites. Strawberry Rhubarb pie and blackberry cobbler are the best but so is absolutely everything else. The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful. This would be an amazing weekend getaway!

Such a cute little place, very clean and hospitable. We had a really nice lunch here. The BLT and club sandwiches were delicious and made with fresh bread. My husband and I went back later for a dessert and coffee. We enjoyed a delicious peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Service was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

Breakfast served all day! A club sandwich as big as your head. The cinnamon rolls are legendary. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu at the Blue Umbrella. And then live music on the first Friday of the month.

This was a very nice little place! It Looks like they have room for 20-30 at a time in a pinch. When we we here there we saw a couple small groups dining. Every one seemed to be enjoying meals and it was a mix of local folk and day tripping guests. We had breakfast, and I particularly enjoyed a fried baloney with an egg sandwich I tried on a whim. Everything was tasty, hearty, generously portioned, and well delivered. You would not leave here hungry or unhappy with the meals! We also took the opportunity to pick up some fresh bakery items they were also super delicious. If you drive in parking is a bit tight but the walking around Metamora is sufficiently interesting – you will not mind and nothing is more than a 5 min walk away. I’d take the train here from Connersville just for lunch!
