I haven’t been there since before covid. Place is now filthy inside. Ordered General Chows Combo and Beef Chop Suey. They gave me something other then chop suey but figured I’d try it, beef was like rubber, vegetables were very hard. The fried rice tasted like underdone minute rice. Husband said the General Chows Chicken was not very good either very dry. Never eating there again.

Should be called Yucky Wok. The reviews are right. Wish I had checked before ordering. This is absolute horrible dumpster garbage!!! Got the almond chicken, horrid brown gravy, chicken super tough and the batter and the chicken tasted like I don’t what, old garbage maybe. Rice dry, bland and also horrid. Gotta go get food from somewhere else now. What a waste of time and money, shameful!

Brought an order of sweet n sour chicken. Very disappointed. The battered chicken consists of 90% batter and 10% chicken. I broke open several pieces to see the breakdown. The chicken fried rice looked like plain white rice.The only color in the rice came from the soy sauce poured on it.i found three tiny pieces of chicken in it. They used to be better than this. $9 down the drain. Never again.

Feels like this place has just continuously gone downhill in quality since the pandemic. They used to be so good, I ordered some sesame chicken with crab rangoon today and it was just all burnt to hell. The chicken was drowning in sauce to try and compensate for the fact that it was incredibly dry. Though some pieces were chewy like theyd been leftovers. The rice was bland. They used to be the best around but other places within a few miles have just blown them out of the water.

Love coming back to the garden city area to get their food! Staff is always friendly, food is always delicious. Great for vegetarians or vegans. Food portions are generous, this whole plate was 10 dollars!!

I bought the General Tao’s chicken and the Sweet and Sour chicken lunch combo, as well as Crab Rangoon. The general was extremely garlicky to the point it was almost inedible. The crab Rangoon was all cream cheese barely any crab and was too sweet for me. The chicken egg roll was really good honestly the reason I gave 3 stars. My son loved the sweet and sour. I ordered through door dash and my food was still hot when I got it so there’s that too.

Got 2 lunch sweet and sour chicken. Chicken tasted like it had been leftovers from 3 days ago. Fried rice looked “watery”. Egg rolls soggy. This place was great 5 years ago, now it is about the worst in the area. Have tried to eat here a few times over the last few years, but just keeps getting worse.
