After a long day and a good Miami Heat game we came here with an empty stomach. I gotta say the food they give you for the price is insane! I barely finished all my food and I was left STUFFED! Only gripe I had with this place is that expect to be there for a good while. The food does take a long time to be made. Other than that the staff was really nice and the environment was very authentic and a good vibe overall.

I’ve visited this restaurant for at least 13 years and can only say that it is always a heartwarming visit every time. The food is good and the staff is friendly.

To start off, had been coming to this place for about 6yrs. Service has always been SLOW! not only that, last night we went to dinner with friends, the place had a full house (for a Party) practically made us leave for our table. (PLEASE be careful )when you get your check the owner charges whatever she want’s. I showed her the right price 18.95 she charged me 22.95. And told me the menu was an old one really ?

I have been coming to la nueva San Salvador for over 5 years. There is a wonder home-y environment. It is women and family owned. You will always find one of the sisters managing the restaurant and talking to the guests. Even though I’m a long time customer, I only recently found out that they have been featured on Telemundo and Univision. Best pupusas in town. If you happen to go on a Thursday – Sunday evening you will enjoy karaoke! Don’t miss out!
