Stopped by for a night cap and I’m intrigued enough to give it another shot but the vibe is slightly off. It’s an elegant decor and classy menu but then they have large screen tvs and dance music bumping. Cocktails were okay. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I’d like to stop by for dinner before making a full judgement.

We went to the newly opened Brass Rabbit on a busy Friday evening for an early evening dinner. The decor of the restaurant is really unique and has a dim black and white theme throughout. There are actual brass rabbits attached to the walls next to the tables. The black leather lounge chairs at some of the tables are a nice touch as well. The bar is separated from the other low tables by a wall. I quite like this because if you want to have a nice sit-down/intimate dinner you can do so without it being too crazy and loud from the bar folk.

The best part about coming here for brunch is the $5 champagne bottles. The food is okay but if you aren’t getting that $5 bottle you’re doing brunch wrong. The food is good for what you get with decent portion sizes. Banana fosters french toast received rave reviews. Disappointed with the waffle fries, not a seasoning in sight. Decent lobster portion on the eggs benedict. Overall, atmosphere was good for a Sunday and our waitress was very friendly.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered a drink off of the N/A drink menu and the Reuben sandwich. Both were tasty, though would have liked the drink better with less ice. Server was friendly, and given the time of day, it wasn’t busy at all, but the place seemed like it would be a fun place in the dinner and happy hours.

Came here to catch up with a friend and got a sparkling rosé and a steak salad. Service was great and drink was good but I wasn’t a fan of the steak in the salad. I saw another photo of a steak salad here which looked good so I ordered it but the beef in the salad I got was almost shaped like a kabob and it felt more like a trimming along the side with a bit more of fat as opposed to more meat. Also I should’ve asked for dressing on the side because it was dressed slightly heavier than I usually like but that’s also on me, I don’t know why I forgot to ask. I did remember to change the dressing from ranch to house though because I’m not a fan of ranch so the typical steak salad might look slightly different. The place was good but I’d probably come back more for drinks than food.

The best espresso martini I’ve ever had! Also tried the cosmo martini which was excellent. The atmosphere is super nice and the decor is lovely! Service was iffy at first, but got better! This was our 2nd visit and we tried their food this time- The lobster lettuce wraps pleasantly surprised us with the amount of lobster inside- especially for the $8 happy hour deal. The pretzel bites they brought were amazing! Fish and chips were good- but we’ll try something different next time. Definitely will be returning 🙂

Wow! Such a great place for dinner and drinks. Had a couple glasses of pinot noir with one of my friends, shared some apps and both got delicious entrées.

We came here as a last minute decision to enjoy a calm but fun, elevated experience for the Super Bowl. Our expectations were blown out of the water. Our server Christi was filling in tonight, as she typically works weekends at the Pinemoor. We simple don’t have enough kind words for her. I am a manager for a hospitality group based out of Charleston, and I would bring her on my team in a heartbeat. She is a very welcoming, gracious server and treated us like family. The buy one get one starters were an awesome touch. We had the the lamb meatballs, pub pretzel, scalloped potatoes and steak salad. Everything that touched the table was great, but the scalloped potatoes were out of this world, what you would dream of homemade comfort food. We wish Christi the best of luck and continued success with this great group!

Not sure if I caught them on a bad day but on their website they have an “all day menu” but apparently it isn’t available until 4pm unless the chefs are free. I ordered the shakshuka and it came out without a spoon. I requested one and the waitress said they were out and I had to be a bit assertive to say I need a spoon to eat this and she then got me one 10min later. Went to pay and and had 2 gift cards. She was able to process one and the for some reason the second one was not processing. The waitress did try to type in the code but overall was pretty bewildered by the entire experience. The food was as expected for the price point. Cool atmosphere.

I had a nice time at Brass Rabbit for a date. The server was very friendly and attentive and his recommendation for the food choice was spot on. On the contrary I felt the inside of the restaurant, which had beautiful decor, was entirely way too loud for a date. Luckily the weather was not super humid the day we went, which is why we did not mind sitting outside instead. But what really infuriated me was a situation at the restrooms. All 5 of the private stalls were locked and I assume were all occupied, which created a pretty long wait with a line forming. Our server, of all people, immediately took notice that something appeared odd. He then proceeded to knock on all doors, to see if someone was in each of them or if the doors were just accidentally locked. Because the restaurant was so loud, our server actually knocked twice on each door. Finally the one door opens and a member of the restaurant staff comes out, who immediately confronted me asking why I kept knocking on the door (“Did you not hear me say I was in there?”). I advised the individual that I was not the one who knocked on the door and to essentially back off. Not a good look to have one of your staff arguing with a paying customer like that. As a result, I will never dine at your establishment again.
