Ordered to go meals. Received food on time, and hot. Taste was as expected, quality was good. It may be a little on pricey side, but it was enjoyable. I ordered the cheese stick for appetizers, and they are a nice smooth mozzarella, lightly battered. Pasta cooked to perfection. Marinara and Alfredo sauces unique to this location. Its really a nice quaint cajun Italian restaurant. I will definitely continue to visit this hidden gem.

Paired with a super cold Peroni, you’ll think you’re in old Italy. If you haven’t been in a while, rediscover this charming iconic restaurant. Let me begin by telling you guys that I grew up on dining here. In fact, ate here 3 times in a single week for dinner (he was only open 5 or 6 nights)! Back to the now. Simply delicious! Outstanding! 10 out of 10 stars. Ben greeted me and immediately made me feel comfortable, took my drink order, while I waited on the rest of my party. Jamie was our server and she was simply marvelous. She knew how to substitute the order to please whatever you desired and was always there without hovering. Freddy, you have turned a little family secret into a great success! I saw “regulars” and new, this evening. Please stop on in for the Soft Shelled Crabs, to the Crawfish Enchiladas, or their version of Alfredo sauce. You will not be disappointed.

Hands down the BEST meal I experienced all year! Just when I gave up on ordering fried cheese, my fondest memory of indulging myself with fresh milk mozzarella finally became a reality! Hand made by Freddie Cascio his self and so succulent! You don’t need to debate on where to eat after reading this review! Place could use a little cleaning. Food was bland, overcooked chicken, and my pasta was cold in the middle. I’ll compliment the good service, but for the high price, I dont think I’ll be returning any time soon. And please fix the hole in the wall you covered with a picture frame, its not a good look.

I had dinner at Freddie’s last night and the food was AMAZING! We had not eaten there in several years because we live about 30 minutes away from the restaurant. It is absolutely worth driving a few extra minutes to eat their incredible food. Freddie Cascios rivals any of the great restaurants in New Orleans. We can’t wait to go back and try another one of the delicious dishes that Freddie and his amazing staff prepares for us.
