I haven’t been downtown Athens in a while!!! I had my mind set on the Grill but it closed at 11:00PM Next thing in site was Eddie’s. So of course, I walked on over to Eddie’s to grab me some wings (shown below)! The new Eddie’s is definitely not the old Eddie’s & I will not return. It was HORRIBLE! Eddie used to have the some of the BEST WINGS IN ATHENS BUT NOW THEY’RE DISGUSTING Then they had the nerves to charge for RANCH…….

Took my 15-year-old son here while the Georgia/ Georgia tech game was going on, game had already started so we had the place to ourself! which was awesome! Plenty of TVs to watch the game the food was great! We got the bacon and cheese curly fries and chicken bacon ranch calzone and lemon pepper wings and it was all great and good portions! Great price, great selection of beer or wine if you’d like. My 15-year-old said we definitely have a new spot that we can go to for date nights.

I ordered online and I just wasn’t satisfied with my food. Especially for what I paid. The wings were not seasoned in any kind of way. Literally plain unseasoned wings with diablo sauce thrown over them. Luckily I had a bottle of ranch dressing in the fridge to dip them with. Who serves wings without any dipping sauce??? The buffalo calzone was not satisfying at all. Some of the cheese wasn’t melted all the way and they I had to add salt as well. Just not good. Overpriced. Never again.

Food was okay, but overpriced. Two calzones and two waters for $30, before tip. Went on a Saturday at lunch time. There were only two girls working, who told us that they were both brand new and had been left alone trying to figure things out. She said they couldn’t figure out any of the beer taps. There was only one couple ahead of us but still took about 30 minutes to get our food. And yes, this calzone is as small as the picture makes it seem.

At 3:30 on g day this place was empty, which was a little surprising as Amici next door was very crowded, but I think I just came in at a weird time because it filled up completely as I ate. The fajita chicken calzone recommended by the person taking orders was spicy but delicious (not too hot if you like spicy), though the center was a little cooler than ideal. Decent canned beer selection, lots of tv’s to watch the game, and the staff were friendly.
