Portnoy is way too biased. This place was amazing. Got their meatball ricotta pie on a Wednesday night and I was blown away by how good it was. The char, not too thin, quality ingredients. Prob one of the best pizzas in south Florida and I’ve had a bunch from Lucali to Mister 01 and beyond, and this stands on its own. Wish I lived closer.

Amazing New Haven style Apizza. This was my third visit, to this location, and the pies just keep getting better. I’ve also learned how to park in the garage (for free) and walk to the restaurant. The walk back after dinner is much needed. The char was on point and my fingers looked like I was doing a rock climbing wall in a coal mine. That’s flavor excitement, right there. Every member of the staff was friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The manager came over to the table and offered to serve the slices to us. Bring the leftovers home, throw them in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes and you have another meal. Thank you for a wonderful meal and we will definitely be back.

First time visit late on a Saturday evening. The greeter and server were friendly and efficient. We ordered two large pizza and they were excellent. I have only two comments. My pizza was sausage and mushroom and at least two slices had no sausage (nit picking there I know). Finally the to go boxes had a sort of damp/musty smell so they weren’t great for putting our leftovers in. Otherwise a great experience.

I ordered a carne pizza minus meatballs and they would not sub black olives for the meatballs and wanted to charge extra. I ordered the pizza “a little well done” and the pizza crust was burnt and the pizza itself was soggy. As you can see in the pics, the sausage was still a little under cooked and so was a few of the pieces of bacon. Like they put the meat on the pizza raw and relied on the oven to cook the dough and meat thoroughly. Meat (pork) takes longer to cook than thin dough. I spent $20 on a small pizza. Sorry Frank! Not a good pizza feel free to reach me to remedy my order.

Yummy! The pizza was delicious . I had the server’s favorite sausage and hot peppers. My family had shrimp and the mushroom and pepperoni pizza. The service was great and the atmosphere was quiet because we went early afternoon. The manager came to the table and asked if we enjoyed the food. This was nice because many restaurants, unfortunately, unfortunately do not provide great customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The Plantation location is doing an OUTSTANDING job bringing Frank Pepe’s pizza to Florida. I spoke to Frank (ironic his name is Frank isn’t it) the manager. Great guy and very receptive to feedback. I drove over from Naples and was not disappointed. The crust was slightly thicker than a typical Connecticut Pepe’s pizza but that may have just typical variation from Pizza to pizza. The pepperoni is very similar but seems to be a bit less spicy. Overall excellent pizza and we will be back. I brought back two pizzas for some friends and they loved it too. It’s amazing what a great job the family has done replicating the look, quality and taste of Pepe’s pizza from location to location. I love that they have a picture of Gary Biamonte on the wall! PLEASE come to Naples, FL. You would do very well in the Founder’s Square area!

Writing my second review of this place. Best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life, all the pizza places in a 20 mile radius are dumpster fire compared to this one. Worth the money, I’d come back here everyday if I could.

Hey , Don’t understand why Dave Gave this place a bad review.. Pizza was good, Service was professional and friendly.. Location is beautiful and new ! We orded Plain tomato pie cheese with hot cherry peppers on side and Margarita Pie which small was huge! We took home 80 percent! Crispy pizza , little greasy.. but good and hot! Will come back and try the other toppings … Come by for a pie!

Consistency in the crust but as some May notice, extremely over cooked Cheese made the whole slice have a burnt acquiring taste as opposed to sometimes with this same kind of Pizza, where the crust ends are slightly burnt only.

The service is 5 star restaurant level! Frank actually checks on his customers to ensure that you are satisfied. I was not a fan of the well done pizza when it came out (true New Haven style pizza lovers go ahead and cringe lol). Frank immediately said he would have it redone “lite char lite bake”. It was the best pizza ever! This is definitely my go to pizza spot. The atmosphere is great for couples, family, and friends. South Florida we have a winner!!!!
