What a turnaround the new owner did with this restaurant. If you haven’t eaten in this place in years and weren’t impressed, try it again. It’s been highly improved. It’s been consistently great each time I’ve been since 2022. It’s one of my new favorite restaurants in Benicia.

Spent $90 on 5 items to go (2) burritos (2) enchilada plates (1) tostada. Food took a lot longer to be ready than I was told which is fine by me. I get there and there’s only 2 tables eating and I see my food sitting in the kitchen in to go boxes. The owner then proceeded to microwave my food order individually (which took several minutes) I watched her til I couldn’t anymore…When I spoke up about not wanting my food cooked in the microwave I was told she was “trying to change things”, whatever that means. Horrible not fresh food, meat was hard. Obviously microwaved enchiladas and my tostada without dairy was LOADED with cheese and Sour Cream. Don’t come here if you want your food cooked in the microwave in styrofoam to go containers. I used to manage restaurants and this is just ALL bad 🙁

Very clean and friendly staff. Order takeout: Bistek Ranchero and Tostada Ceviche. Too much lime in ceviche, too sour. For the price the bistek plate had little meat (beef).

I went to check out this place, and I ordered a regular burrito, carne asada, by the way. A side with little bit salad or pico de gallo and guacamole, too. Salsa and tortillas chips are served as well. I will be back.

Not been here for a while. There is a new menu. The staff was friendly but not very attentive. Askedtwice for extra napkins that I never recieved. The food was good but not great. I would come back but not one of the first places I would select.

Thought I would give it a chance and the service is better than the food and the service was great. The food is so so and I just ordered cheese enchilada combo with rice and beans. The enchilada sauce was thick and saucy and I could feel the heartburn coming on in the first bite. The rice was also so so but the beans seemed old and were a thick pile on the plate. I tried a bite but that’s as far as it went. If you have had decent Mexican Food, this place unfortunately will disappoint. If your looking to give it a chance, I would skip which is unfortunate.
