They were understaffed, but the owner was hilarious, very personable, and every stop at our table left us laughing! The food came out in good quantity and was overall absolutely amazing. The reason for removing one star was the wait. Expect to be here 2-3 hours. However, everything was wonderfully seasoned and delicious!

We ordered vegan and we didn’t have to look through the menu, he new exactly what to make us. So delicious! Definitely one of my go to’s when I’m at the office.

The business is slow and easy going atmosphere. There is available outdoor parking for people. I liked the cultural African theme of the restaurant but, it’s very slow of service. The host allows you to seat yourself any available tables.

This hit the spot. The doro wat and cabbage were superb. Flavors were spot on. It takes time to get food but worth every second. Will be back.

As far as I know this is the place to go for Ethiopian food in Fresno. It’s not fast food but if you allow about an hour for lunch it’s definitely worth it. So just relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Spicy means spicy. I love the berry spice made out of 20 ingredients for 6 hours but he cut it in half in my lamb dish and it was about all that I could handle.

We stopped here on our way from LA to Yosemite. Do glad we found this gem! We were in for lunch, and our server was also our chef and busboy. He was running the place all on his own that lunch hour, and he did a spectacular job. Everything was delicious. It was actually my parents’ first time eating Ethiopian food, and they loved it. We ordered the platter to share between 4 of us and had plenty left over. Would highly recommend this place!!

The food was excellent, the ambient was fun tasteful and clean. The owner engaged us and had a good word for everyone. Make sure you leave yourself enough time. This is not a fast food place. Be prepared to wait a bit for your fresh and tasty food.
