What a nice find. Had breakfast here & it was delicious. They are open earlier than other breakfast places around too! I had the avocado bacon toast which was SO good. Their homemade breads and pastries and muffins are delicious too!

It’s a great place to have breakfast and they have a menu that goes on forever. Service is good and the food is excellent. Figure about 20 bucks a person. I had the chicken and biscuits with gravy and an order of hash browns.

Very clean place….food was good. Tried the meat lover’s skillet and wasn’t disappointed. Staff is very friendly and attentive without being too imposing. Prices are reasonable.

4 of us got the half sandwichs and soup with a cookie. 2 of us got the half of the 3 cheese grilled cheese. Too our disappointment there was American cheese on it. To our disbelief the waitress knew and admitted to us that’s what they do to the half order grilled cheese. Obviously they don’t believe in truth in menu. To top it all off they only had 3 of the four cookies and they were not the ones we wanted. To say the least this was a very disappointing meal…chicken dumpling soup was good though..

We love Lincoln Inn! Every time we visit my daughter at NIU, we have to eat here! The soup and sandwich are the best around. New location is lovely!

This place was almost too good to be true. I’ve been looking for a classic breakfast experience in the area forever. The service and ingredients were absolutely phenomenal and the food was prepared perfectly. The menu is a bit limited but use your imagination and order from the heart. They have the stuff.

The food was good, the service was great and I enjoyed the small town feel of the restaurant. Might I suggest adding grits to the menu!

A banquet hall repurposed into a restaurant. Went here for breakfast in a group of 5 and we were sat in a huge room with no decorations and a high ceiling. In order to get back there, we had to cut through the kitchen area??? But the service was good and the food was tasty
