This is my first time visiting Grand china Buffet. Food was really good. Hibachi was very delicious. Except the service my overall experience was really good. I have taken to go to one of my family member and the price charged was $7 per pound and a little extra for sea food.. which was not bad though

I went to grand china buffet during lunar new year with my family, this place wasn’t disappointed at all but maybe recommended go there if u LOVE asian buffet foods! But the grill cooker which my cousin got like grill shrimp on the stick but it were burned like alittle half way I don’t have the pictures of it but I’ll give it an 3/5 star rate for this buffet. I came across other buffet which they didn’t had sushi which I was abit disappointed so this buffet if u love sushi as side dishes should definitely come here!

The food is really good. The price is decent. It’s my favorite buffet in Philly. Service can be a hit or miss on drink refills. Some servers have poor attitudes. The soup and Hibachi bar are so delicious. The staff there are kind.

Would not recommend the place. The waitresses and hostess are rude. The dishes are greasy and the cups are dirty. The waitress brought out a dirty cup of ice water and when addressed to the waitress, instead of taking the cup of water, she told us to place it into the “dirty dishes” bucket ourselves. Afterwards, she didn’t even bring out a new cup of water. So, when we told her that she didn’t bring a new cup of water or bring enough for everyone at the table, she proceeded to count with her fingers to make sure that there WASN’T enough water for everyone at the table before going back to bring more. Additionally, the buffet area may be “steaming hot”, but the food are cold. We did not pay the price they charged to eat cold food. Also, if you dine in before dinner time and they bring out the dinner food, you cannot eat it. If you do, they will charge you for the dinner price, or they will throw away the food in your plate, even if you’re still eating. This was terrible customer service and would not be returning.

This was my first time visiting the Grand China Buffet. I went on a Monday, which was a holiday (MLK Day). My first impression walking in is that it is definitely “Grand.” I haven’t seen a Chinese buffet this big since The Habatchi Supreme Grill on Cottman Ave ( which I miss). As soon as I passed the first two sets of doors, I was greeted with a hello . The greeter led us to our table. I couldn’t help but notice there was a small fountain with Koi fish on the left side of the restaurant, and also they were selling some jewelry, bags, hats, nicnaks, blow-up toys, and collectable items. The waiter took our drink orders, and then we went to get our food. The Buffet had plenty to choice from. The food was warm and tasty. I was kind of disappointed with the dessert selection. No cakes, banana pudding, or cookies. Just different kinds of jello, fruit, and brownies. We went a little further in the back, and we saw a big chocolate fountain with freezers. One with about 6 different flavors of ice cream and the other with about 6 different flavors of water ice. They didn’t have much fruit to choose from to put in the fountain. Just pineapple and cantaloupe with one piece of banana left. I was disappointed that the chocolate was nasty. Diffently wasn’t Hershey. When we left, I had to stop back at the front, where they were selling some items. My son ended up getting me a led lamp candle holder that caught my eye. Overall, I enjoyed my first visit and will be back.

I went here in a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. This place is massive! Very large dinning room and 2 private party rooms. The restaurant wasn’t crowded. The food selection was amazing. All the food seems fresh. Some options were luke warm. Probably because it was a weekday, but the staff was refreshing a lot of items when I arrived so everything was eventual hot. They staff didn’t really interact with us that much and never refilled our drinks. Overall I would go again for just the selection of food.

My family we stopped by for lunch and the waitress were rude and gave us dirty cup. We asked for three new cups of water and they got mad. Also, the lady at the front touched my younger brother in a rude manner and asked for his age. I would not recommend this place.
