Great new addition for our cuisine in the south end. Our first time there love the atmosphere and decoration plus the accommodation to eat outside. Good menu option for appetizers and main dishes. Also their desserts is very good. Too bad they were out of Kenafa today. The best part of the place it’s clean and they have a wonderful murals for men and women.

Our friends went here for breakfast, then invited us to try it for lunch. We were delighted with the warm welcome, spacious setting, and delicious food. I have only had Turkish food a few times, and am impressed with the wide variety of food they offer…I want to start to go back regularly and try something new each time!

So far the best Trukish restaurants in Seattle area Washington. Delicious authentic Turkish food, excellent service, nicely decorated environment and smiling face welcoming hosts.

This restaurant is a discovery for me. One month ago, I was traveling in Turkey where I tried Turkish cuisine. The food was tasty, fresh, and colorful. I was hoping to find a similar experience here in the Seattle area, and this place is amazing. The food is exactly the same as in Turkey. You should try Turkish coffee – it’s real coffee! 🙂

I think this place is prob better as a lunch spot, would not recommend the breakfast. Most of our group got breakfast items and were disappointed, except for one person who got the lamp chops lunch item and thought it was great. The Turkish breakfast sampler was the lowest rating dish—the items on there were so uncreative – the salad was just leaves tomatoes and cucumber without any dressing, cold meat was not good, and the rest was just slabs of cheese, jam, a piece of wrapped butter (not sure why that’s even there), and a hard boiled egg. It was disappointing.

Loved the whole Turkish cultural immersion. The food is out of this world. The service is very hospitable that I felt like home.

Clean restaurant and nice interior. Today was my first time having lunch there. Nice staff but slow service. One server only when I was there today and she was running all over the place trying to keep up. I felt bad for her.

To start, the wait time to be greeted and helped was poor, took about 30 minutes to speak to a waiter. Although, they only had two waiters in the whole restaurant so I see why it took some time, they should have better staffing when it comes to that. I do have to say that the lady who helped us was very pleasant and helpful, she made good recommendations and made sure we were happy. I’ve had Turkish food a few times prior to trying Sabah cafe. Usually Turkish food is a hit or miss for me. But I was pleasantly surprised with Sabah cafe. The meat was all cooked nicely and good flavor, although I do wish the beef chops were a little more tender. I was a big fan of the lahmujen and the meat pide, the bread was thin and crispy, the meat all had great flavor. Although, i wasn’t a big fan of the manti, i generally love manti, but this one just had too much yogurt sauce, and the dough to meat ratio was inadequate. I would have preferred a little more meat in the dumplings, it was lacking that flavor and fullness. I was so excited to try a Turkish doner for the first time as well, but unfortunately it didn’t satisfy my expectations. I got the chicken doner, the chicken was alright, but a little dry, the doner could have used some sauce inside, they only put a side of sauce on the outside, the fries were great and crispy though. we ended the lunch with some tea and dessert , their cakes were delightful, baklava a bit too sweet but great texture. Overall, I’d come here again because it is on the better end of halal restaurants in Washington.
