Staff were short/ unwelcoming on our visit. Chicken tikka lacked creaminess and punch but naan was good and crispy. The place and tableware could use a good deep clean. It could help with their “OK” Tacoma-Pierce health inspection rating. Not a fan.

Best hole in the wall Indian Restaurant! Nothing fancy here but I don’t mind because the food and the service is outstanding! The owner is so very nice and the food is made fresh and it tastes fresh. It’s not fast food. It’s nice and quiet and clean. I don’t get the complaints. I watched them thoroughly clean tables. I love this restaurant and will return again!!

Very different from any other butter chicken I’ve had. It’s packed with a lot of flavors, but it doesn’t have the texture as if it was cooked in a tandoori oven and the sauce is very thin and not incredibly smooth. I’m not necessarily saying it’s bad, just different from what I’m used to and what I prefer.

So while the atmosphere and service were both good I am only giving 3 stars because I went there for food and the food was only average. Naan is an important part of Indian food and for me the naan fell flat. It was just dry and the flavor was not the best. The flavor of the chicken I had was better than the bread but there was something tough and black with the chicken. Not sure what it was…Maybe partially burned? Not sure if I would return even though my favorite Indian restaurant is in Federal Way and further from home.

The owner was nice we ate despite the okay rating. Unfortunately, it was just that ok. I have never been to an Indian restaurant I didn’t like. Food was not seasoned, the flavors were not bursting and the chicken was not what we were expecting. We will not be going back. I hate this for them since they have been around a long time and have an article from 2008 naming it a good place to go now in 2023 I don’t think that title stands any more.

Wanted Indian food that day. The service seemed off. No warm welcome. Can’t speak for how it is ,on other days. But definably cold on this one. We ordered a vindaloo dish and a lamb curry. The flavors were ok but nothing to write home about. Was disappointed about meat portion was very little . Have had had way better Indian food. So it would help if they improved on the restaurant atmosphere , service and actually giving value for money spent.

Been going here for years now. I have my favorite go to dishes but everything I have tried is top notch and never disappoints. Everyone who works here is very nice.

Coming from Canada, where I’ve eaten nothing but the best Indian meals till date, I can certainly say this is the WORST Indian restaurant that I’ve ever visited in my life

Service was fine. Food was kinda trash compared to other Indian places I’ve been. It lacked flavor depth. Just spicy with no other real flavors. I ordered the panir (paneer) Masala and it didn’t taste like much. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. the vegetable samosas saved the day but I have places much closer to me that are FAR better. I don’t think I even want to try it again. I wish I had a picture. I’ve never seen Paneer Masala look the way it did. But maybe I’m just uncultured who knows but it will be awhile before I even consider this place.
