Went here for brunch. The initial interaction was off putting. We arrived at 3:18 and was asked where we wanted to sit. Then the waitress said they were only seating reservations after 3:30. After some back and forth she supposedly spoke with a manager and then we were set. It felt unwelcoming and unnecessary to be honest.

I was recommended to support this black owned business while I was in Houston only to be very disappointed by the service and atmosphere. I reserved online for a “restaurant section” not knowing that it was considered the “bar section” and was seated in the kitchen by the ice machine, under a leaking air conditioner. I asked if I could be moved to the bar section and that was a bust. The food and drinks are over priced too.The owner did provide a round of drinks on him, but the damage was already done.

This was my first time attending for my dear friend’s birthday party and we had a blast! The strawberry Hennessey lemon drop martini was delicious, the Happy Hour menu allowed me to get the fish tacos, lollipop wings, and creole croquet for less than $30 on those full plates. All three were delicious Our server acted like he was an old friend, giving great drink and food recommendations and even showing us some dance moves to the latest shuffles when we forgot the moves. Overall, great experience, would love to visit again

Really enjoyed brunch here. The live music was nice; not overly loud like some other places. The vibe was good and my food was awesome. I had the fish and grits, it was seasoned nicely and came out hot even though we had a large group. The manager checked on us often and our servers were nice and attentive. I’d highly recommend this place and will return soon.

I went yesterday with my friends since we were in the area. We arrived around 3:30pm and just missed the food service before they started the kitchen back later in the evening. The owner was so gracious to reopen the kitchen and accommodate us so that we could order something to eat. Everything we ordered was a 10/10! I ordered the chicken and waffles with the jalapeño ranch, recommended by the owner, and my friends ordered the French toast, shrimp and grits, steak and potatoes dish, egg Benedict, and mini monte cristo. We also tried the strawberry lemon drops and strawberry Hennessy lemon drops and they were good and had a great visual presentation. The waitress were very nice and checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. We definitely plan on checking this place out again in the future next time we are in Pearland!

The review about the food is true. I tried different dishes. I came with about 6 other people so we all got something different. Everything we ordered was nasty.
