Taste like home made Dong Bei Cai – cuisine from Northeastern China. Nothing fancy just comforting if you are from the region and miss the taste.

I love the food at this place. It’s not like the cookie cutter, Americanized or “standard Chinese restaurant fare. Nice small space and felt like a nice part of the community.

Food is pretty authentic, though a bit pricey for the portion. My favorite dish was 炒鸡架 Stir Fried Cumin Chicken Bone, which was super flavorful and had lots of meat on the bone; great dish with beer. 地三鲜 Eggplant with Pepper and Potato was better as leftover. The dish that I came for, 锅包肉 Double Cooked Pork Slices, had authentic vinegar and sweet flavor, but was over-fried and too hard to bite. 麻婆豆腐 was bleh, I dare to say I make a better version at home.

This place is like a shop out of San Gabriel valley in LA! It’s tiny and cramped and all the orders are shouted to the cooks in Chinese. A lot of the clientele also seems to be Asian, which is always a good sign that it’s pretty authentic. I found the food to be a little on the salty side, but overall it was pretty good. The mabo tofu was not as spicy as I was expecting it would be, but was still decently flavorful. Egg dishes were solid. Would love to go again if I’m ever in the Seattle area.

I ordered a mapo tofu (without pork) – a little oily for me but tasted good! The portion size was great. Rice is not included with entrees.

So good. We’ve been coming here for a couple of years and I always want to pig out and talk about the next time we’ll return. Good portion size — easy to share. Get there early because it can fill up, but very much worth the wait if you have to.

Very authentic northeastern Chinese food! I’ve been going there with my Chinese friend every weekend and we all love the food so much!

The food is really good. The place has no atmosphere, zero, it’s got some cheap plastic chairs and cheap tables to eat on, or grab food to go. No signs you can see from the street, it’s next to the dry cleaners. I really like this place and plan to continue to grab meals from it.

Excellent food. Very casual, family style ie shareable meals. Would suggest improving table setting (eg plate or bowl per guest, serving spoon per dish).

Got the double cooked pork and spicy string beans. Both were delicious! The double cooked pork tastes similar to sweet and sour chicken, and is satisfyingly crunchy! Decent portion size for 2. Server was friendly and attentive. Will be back to try more. We sat in the window which was nice. Only comment is that there were a lot of flies in the window.
