Food was good, waitress was very nice but the restaurant was understaffed, making it difficult for her. To her credit she did her best, but she was forced to constantly apologize. We sat for 15 minutes after initial seating before water and waitress appeared. I want to emphasize, not the waitresses fault. She was hustling and had a great attitude. They just seemed understaffed. There was a help wanted sign in the window. It’s a nice place with good food and nice staff. Just don’t be in a hurry to be anywhere afterwards.

Our food here was quite good! Went once a year ago and waited a very long time and didn’t have great service, but went again recently and had a great waitress and quicker service…I’d go again! I like that they have meals that are different than other Mexican restaurants

The food is always excellent and arrives quickly to your table. The service is top notch, especially Jimmy. Marco is upbeat and fun, he runs a wonderful restaurant. We’ve been going there for years and have never been disappointed. Try a Caribbean cocktail, yum!

Came to Antigua Real for dinner with coworkers, service did take a while but we were quite a few of us but even then our drinks still took a while even after we reordered drinks, I ordered the carnitas they were a bit dry and needed more flavor, restaurant is a bit pricey for the food quality.

For the last 5 years I have lived a half mile from this restaurant and for some reason just never visited it. Not sure if I just hit a really good night or if this place can genuinely put out the food I was served tonight on a regular basis. Not your average Mexican fare. I thoroughly enjoyed the Latin inspired section of the menu and was happy that I could sub black beans for the pinto beans. The dishes we ordered had a subtle kick to them which we both appreciated. They also have some fun specialty cocktails and pretty good house margaritas.
