We had our son’s graduation party catered for about 50 people and they did a fantastic job! We got 3 different sandwiches, ziti, pasta salad and fruit. It was beautifully presented and we were well taken care of from start to finish. Pasta salad was a big hit and the chicken club was a great mix into our cold cold cut choices. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and the cookies were the bomb 🙂

So I wanted to see what the 2023 Westword Reader’s Choice was all about. I ordered the chicken club, which is a cutlet, either breaded or grilled. I opted for the breaded; it was thin and well seasoned, and actually preferred this over having traditional sliced deli meat; so that was a nice change. The white American was actually nice as well as the spread that was on here—it was something other than just your typical Mayo it seemed; sandwich was also generously dressed with a lot of fresh tomatoes (I held the onions). Finally, the French bread was well toasted, and of an appropriate thickness. I think the sandwiches default to four inches, which sounded small, so paid the extra $6 for eight inch. I also ordered a side of the “famous” Mac and cheese which was a huge non-event: watery and bland; not thick, not creamy, and without flavor. It was only $2.50 I think, so whatever. Now in terms of the location, this is very hard to find. It’s only accessible via Santa Fe and Florida from what I can see, and it’s in a building called Chef Ready, which appears to be a shared kitchen collective of at least five or six other “restaurants?” Not exactly sure what’s going on here, but just be aware there is no sign for the sandwich part until you’re about three feet from the door and you see all the logos of who’s in there, I circled the block a few times before figuring it out. It’s not a food hall, and there is nowhere to eat aside from two outdoor tables; the entirety of the business appears to be for to-go/pick-up orders. Definitely a four star sandwich, and I will probably try something else again as it’s close to my house and they have some other intriguing offerings. But Reader’s Choice as best sandwich in Denver ? Im guessing there was some heavy social media campaigning and ballot box stuffing going on here.

My family and I have tried this place twice already. We’ve had the blackened chicken, the parmesans with meatballs, potato salad, and one of their delicious black & white cookies. Everything was super flavorful and toasty. Oh and their bread is out of this world! We will be back for sure!
