First visit, my son and I were in the Mall browsing, China Max caught my eye! A lady gave me sample of the bourbon chicken! It was so good, grilled sweet, tender, very tasty, Purchased with rice and veggies! Even the veggies were good, not tough Like most! I will be back! Try that chicken yall!! Oh and the gold peak sweet tea!!

I only go here for one reason only. And that’s the Bourbon Chicken! Good serving sizes for a fair price. They even have extra bourbon glaze sauce if you want. Only order what u see. Menu items can come out a bit weird in assuming because they don’t make them as much as the items on the hot table

Will never get food from this place again! The older guy kept asking me if I want sample, I said no twice, he kept asking. I said no again, I don’t eat meat. All I wanted were some cheese wontons. got up to the register asked for a slushy that they were advertising. The slushy was more like a smoothie and very thick. Only had small thin straws. When he handed me my wontons, I asked for sweet and sour sauce as there was no sauce with the wontons. He pointed over to the counter where there was duck sauce. I said no, sweet and sour, he kept pointing to duck sauce, which is not the same! I then said no, the red sauce…sweet and sour! He threw his hands up and practically yelled at me and said, “we don’t have sweet and sour”! What kind of chinese place does not have sweet and sour sauce?! Never again!

When we walked buy the older man and woman persisted in making my wife and I try a sample of their bourbon “chicken” even after we refused twice. I did ask for the bourbon chicken and some of the pieces were burned and it did not taste like chicken. Shady place that husles peoe for their money. Just like everyone else’s commented. Recommend avoiding this place as much as possible.

Okay, as I walked by this restaurant with my wife the older Asian gentleman at the store offered me a sample and pointed to his sign. My wife opted for Chic Fila and I (after turning down the sample) opted for Chinese. The older guy put bourbon chicken and rice in the styrofoam box. I pointed at the picture and said “isn’t this supposed to come with vegetables?” He all of the sudden lacked good communication skills but I understood extra. He then asked what kind of drink I wanted grabbing a cup and pointed to the drink choices leading me to believe it was included. Anyways, I didn’t receive what was advertised for 5.99 I ended up paying 8.70 something with a drink I was duped into buying. (Water is usually my drink of choice) will never go there again. Although the food was good I prefer honesty!
