This place is such a gem in Lexington! Fantastic soul food and drinks menu! I highly recommend the crawfish served with fresh garlic and herbs and a side of buttery toast. The salmon bowl and soups are also so savory and delicious. Fried pickles are also really yummy! Highly recommend this eatery especially on a great sunny day for the patio!

The atmosphere is fantastic! The food was excellent as well. I would highly suggest the Hotbrown. The chicken tenders in all honesty weren’t very good they tasted like nothing. They obviously did not season them and just threw them in the fryer. I would recommend this location.

Walked over here after visiting the farmers market and tried the Zims platter for brunch. Sat outside on the patio to enjoy the atmosphere with some live music. The food was good but a little bland for the price. A very convenient cafe if you’re downtown for the farmers market looking for a quick bite to eat.

Excellent local sourced food products. Great wait staff. I highly recommend the deep fried banana peppers, coated with Wisenberger corn meal. My only complaint is the creamy slaw doesn’t have much flavor. Favorite new place to eat in Lexington.

We only got dessert. We had carrot cake and a peanut butter cookie. Both very good. Carrot cake would be better with pineapple and toasted pecans. Came back today for dinner. Delicious!

Decided to try this place out, the food and atmosphere was really great. Service was kind of decent. Downside was the wait for the food was roughly 30-40 minutes and the restaurant wasn’t packed. Once the food arrived it was pretty good, I had the catfish po boy and it was tasty. Wasn’t dry. I recommend the artichoke fritters for an appetizer they’re really good. Only gripe was the timing of everything.
