The reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because the waiter spilled wine at our table and there wasn’t any ac so it was very hot. You’d think 250 bucks could get me a meal with ac. The food was so delicious though! It was well worth it. I highly recommend this place.

Celebrated my birthday here with my husband over Labor Day weekend. Service was excellent and the food blew us away. Highly recommend the fluke and mouse patè. Space is cozy and intimate with a fantastic music playlist that the chef curates.

I’ve been mulling over the recent tasting menu visit about 2 weeks ago. First off automatic one star off for those chairs. I still think about how horrid and uncomfortable those chairs were both my partner and I both expressed pain after sitting for this meal.

My husband and I love to eat and trying new places. While we have been to Townsend before, this was the first time trying the tasting menu. For $100, you get a lot and get a lovely adventure of the taste buds. Now, it has been 5 months since we had a date night (newborns will do that), but we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Our server was also very attentive and kind. The beef tartar and the skate were my favorite.

My boyfriend surprised me for New Years Eve to take me to a 7 course dinner at Townsend and it was simply delish! It was our first time and we both enjoyed. Great service and amazing flavorful food. The place is designed very simple so the focus is on the food.
