Absolutely in love with Taj.Go here for the well seasoned staff and good eats. We would recommend all 3 Nan breads, the Samosas,& the mango shrimp Masala with a side of Basmati rice is also a must. ps you have to order at least one of their featured cocktails The ginger Tumeric Martini is perfection if you like citrusy cocktails.

This is NOT authentic style Indian food and a bit pricy when there are better and cheaper options in nearby cities. However, the atmosphere was enjoyable, they had friendly service, and the teas and coffees are awesome.

Welcome, Taj, to the Gloucester dining scene! We tried take-out last week and felt the food was fresh and delicious. Everything we tried was savory and scrumptious, and I was very pleased with the perky chopped salad as a light accent to some of the more traditional dishes. We will be back!

Finally! Indian food in Gloucester, we used to drive down to Waltham. This place is unique and delicious. Classic dishes, my fav the Saag Paneer, was amazing. Spicy dishes were getting me sweaty. Apps bomb, I have tried the Samosa and garlicy potatoes, and I would recommend both.

I was missing Indian food as I am a north Indian. I visited taj and tried their garlic naan with paneer tikka masala and I LOvED it. Garlic Naan was filled with good amount of cilantro and garlic which I have never seen in any Indian restaurants in usa. It’s become my new favorite.

Dissapointed. Food was very bland. Chicken Tikka masala had an overwhelming coconut flavor and wasn’t creamy like it should be. Also food was lacking in curry. The biryani was also bland with no authentic flavor. And the Naan bread was covered in big chunks of salt.Wouldn’t say food was terrible but if you’re looking for authentic Indian food this isn’t the place.

I was so excited to see that there was an Indian restaurant in Gloucester! I immediately picked up the phone and placed an order just to try the place out. We order some basics on the menu – garlic Naan, vegetable samosas, and chicken Tikka massala. The staff was nice and had everything ready as soon as we got there, it was right on time no waiting.
