Went to Jimmy’s Smokehouse in Welcome, NC, this morning for breakfast. In a word… Awesome! I had a custom order of sausage, fried egg, and cheese on a bun. On the first bite the yoke drizzled through the rest of the sandwich and slowly dripping from my hand. It was amazing and it left me full and very happy. You’ve gotta try Jimmys!

Very disappointed in the amount of food for the price you pay. Our meal turned out to be 34.60 and definitely is not worth that price and the 2 bbq sandwiches are very small and squished, the hot dog and fries is not worth the 7.28. We were so shocked in price we just yelled out a number for a tip, needless to say we will not be back, unfortunately.

What a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful explaining the unique menu items available. The pit smoked BBQ & sliced brisket is a MUST! Don’t leave without trying the onion rings, bbq coleslaw, and smoked mac-n-cheese! Definitely coming back to try more items on the menu!

The food was Great!! First time there, and I was impressed with the food and service, even though they were short-handed. My date had a Bar B Q tray with hush puppies, and I had a bar b q sandwich. It was very good! I will return and try something different. The owner came and sat with us at our table and just talked. The atmosphere was very pleasant. A+plus all the way around.

First and last time going to this restaurant. Went to get 2 hotdogs. Adult female was taking curb orders. Female child came out to collect money for order. When she told me the price which was over $10.00 I questioned her if that was right. She said yes because a single is $9.00. Knowing that was incorrect, I handed her the money and when she brought me my change, she was sure to point out to me that she didn’t set the prices. I told her I knew she didn’t. Later a different adult female brought me my order and I left. Very disappointed in the service and prices. Next time I will go to Kerley’s. These prices are too high for a small town.

We decided to try out the new smoke house and it was superb! Not only was the owner going around just as much as the waitresses but Lil Boss was the cutest waitress ever and so sweet. Our food was amazing and by far the best BBQ dip around. I truly hope they stick around!

The best BBQ! Love the Hickory Smoke taste. I prefer the coarse chopped which is all lean meat. The BBQ chicken is the best I have ever eaten! Add some Tater salad, baked beans, and the best hush puppies ever! You can smell the smoked pig from a mile away!

The wait was a little long tonight but the employees were very accommodating! One of them brought us teas while we waited and one refilled them for us before we left. I loved the food, tasted amazing! Great serving sizes as well! Definitely will come back!

We ate lunch today about 1:15 & it was still mostly full of patrons but still room to immediately sit down to a dirty table ( it happens) but we weren’t greeted with any kind of smile or happiness of any sort. The first server arrived with no greeting or smile. She also had very long hair which was not pulled back in any capacity. I don’t feel she has any prior experience in the field. There were 2 other younger servers there with the same attitude & experience level as to how to do the job at hand. We finally experienced a very nice, smiling & accommodating server about midway through the meal…. Angie is her name as I made a point to ask, she said she was the owners sister. If all the others followed her attitude & customer service it would have been a great experience overall because the food was good but everything is still greatly lacking except Angie!… so we would have tipped more if Angie didn’t have to share tips!!
