Best Chicken Sandwich I’ve ever had – and it’s consistently amazing. This location is in the Mueller HEB, so it’s mostly for take out, but there is a little food court area with a bar and outdoor seating if you want that. I just want the chicken sammy. (duck fat fries are great too)

Roots Chicken Shack is good when it’s consistent. The person that cooked my food probably wants to sabbatage this restaurant. I eat here often but sometimes the food is too salty that I can’t eat it. Today, I ordered chicken nuggets and fries and couldn’t eat my food. I’m never eating here again because I’m wasting my money. I’ve reported this issue to a manager a few months ago.

Wow… the biscuits with spicy jelly is amazing.. The Spicy Bird with sweet potatoe bun is also amazing. You also have to get an order of Duck Fat Fries… This is a lot of food and pretty reasonable price. $16. Great job Tiffany!!!

Little nice hidden gem inside an HEB location, specialized in duck fat fried chicken it was sooo good, easy ordering system, very fast turn around, a great overall meal and the fact that you can place an order while you shop is awesome, also there’s a very nice food court and sitting areas around so you can definitely go just for the food, nice setup, wish more cool things like that exist.
