Food was good. Service was great, and the atmosphere was awesome. We got a variety of dishes and some were delicious and one was inedible and the other okay.

Rustic restaurant with open kitchen where you can see incredible food being prepared. Very impressed with what I tried. Fish sandwich was a perfect combination of creamy dressing over crispy texture. Thinly shaved cabbage for the cole slaw…my goodness! Fresh flowers adorned the tables and dim lights created a nice atmosphere. It was great. Sublime food. Highly recommend. Need to go again.

i think the fries were made from potatoes stabbed through a salt mine, because what i had were the saltiest fries ever. the bacon mac cheese gave me acute diarrhoae and a low grade fever. lots of people were there though and the atmosphere is nice, just had bad luck on my end. ah well, it was a nice memory to cherish being in the bathroom seven times afterwards

Nice restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, tons of outdoor seating, and great food. Beer selection was expansive and the menu had a variety of solid entrees. Steak frites had a great garlic aeoli with a perfect medium rare cook. The fries were wedge cut and slightly undercooked for their thickness. Good service and definitely worth a stop.

Fabulous staff. I went here twice in my week visit, the first time we got wings and the second we got the fish of the day and fried chicken sandwich. Both of which were hot and delicious! I’d highly recommend this place for a comfortable lunch or dinner. Not too uppity.

We had a great experience here the other night! We were fortunate to walk in without a reservation and get a table about 10 minutes later. All four of us loved our food & drinks and the service was great as well. I’d return for the “New Dance Move” margarita alone!

I’ve heard lots of good things about Engine Room so I figured I’d try it out. We got the buffalo wings as an appetizer and they were amazing! A bit of spice with a bit of tanginess. I got the mushroom mae burger. It wasn’t anything special but it wasn’t bad either although the fries weren’t very good. We got some cornbread too which was really tasty! Our waiter was very upbeat and friendly.

I had heard a lot of good about the food from here, but ultimately ended up feeling like it was only okay. The rotisserie chicken, while tasty, came out lukewarm and the skin wasn’t crispy or crunchy, it was soft and easy to peel off. The leg and wing were also a little dry. For the size of the half (or full) hen that you get, it also feels rather expensive. While this is expected in Mystic, especially from a joint that advertises itself as upscale, I was expecting a larger portion.

This is definitely a great place to try if you haven’t already. The atmosphere is really cool, especially the bar area with the engine in it. The service was great, the food was delicious and the music that was playing kept us entertained while eating. I recommend the hangover burger, it was cooked to perfection and comes with an onion ring and egg on it. The pickle spear it comes with is really good too. The overall visit was great.

Eggs Benedict was great! The fries, avocado toast, and cinnamon donuts were all burnt.
