I love eating firehouse subs, but this location never seem to be open on time. Or they are understaffed. It’s very sad. The freestyle machine was out of almost half the options including all the Coke flavors. However, when they finally opened and I got my sandwich, it was as delicious as it was supposed to be.

Came to read the reviews to see if it’s gotten any better since my last and probably final visit there many months ago. I really hope someone takes control of this store before it gets shut down. I waited so long to have a Firehouse in Winston and we finally got one. The original owners kept things top notch. Please somebody save this place! I can’t keep waiting for a Firehouse sub til I head to N Myrtle Beach!

Very Poor customer service!!. There were 5 people working behind the counter and one outside the front door smoking. Plenty of staff but no napkins in any of the dispensaries, dirty floor, my order was prepared wrong and I was told I would have to wait until all the online orders were filled first before they corrected my order. Really?? Very negative, unfriendly attitudes. Don’t visit this location. Normally I love Firehouse subs, but this location is awful. Very disappointing experience.

Walked in to order a sub for my mom and myself, around 2:30 pm on 8/29/23, and was completely ignored by the black lady and gentleman that was behind the counter. I stood in front of the counter a full 2 minutes while they ignored me. Finally I just turned around and walked out the door, never to return. It doesn’t surprise me there was nobody in the dining room eating. The place had a rundown, I don’t care about customers atmosphere. We ended up going to an Amish deli in Hamptonville, where the food and service was impeccable. Sorry Firehouse Subs, appears your latter no longer takes you to the top anymore.

Worst customer service/human experience I’ve ever had. Was the only customer in the store and waited over 15 minutes for 2 subs. During this time the employees took it upon themselves to question me and my partners relationship. They began harassing us with homophobic and sexist remarks. When we finally received our food the meatball sub was cold and the other wasn’t made correctly. Safe to say, I nor anyone I know will be visiting this location again.

Tonight I ordered through DoorDash and was sorely disappointed. I have never has a problem with Firehouse being anything less than delicious. My husband got a free sub for the name of the day with a purchase. I’ve never had firehouse subs before. Upon arrival, there were three employees “working”. We were the only ones there but somehow the order for two sandwiches took a disappointing amount of time. Besides them being out of SEVERAL ingredients and the employees messing around, our very PRICEY sandwiches were the biggest disappointment of all. I can’t tell you how many things I would have rather spent the $15 it took to get one sandwich. We had two soggy hot sandwiches that had hardly any ingredients inside. Low on meat and veggies, high on grease and cost. It’s just clear that the values of this establishment aren’t customer focused. Low stock on inventory, employees not caring to serve customers, making sandwiches poorly, way overpriced, etc.

Disappointment….Haven’t had Firehouse in a while. So I decided to wait from 10:00 till 10:30 whitch was opening time. At opening time no one opened the doors but instead started stocking the potatoe chip bins and other boxes. At 10:45 I gave up and left. “But Jersey Mike’s was happy to serve me.”

I ordered the large sub so I could have lunch and supper. When I looked in my bag (after I got to work), I found that the sandwich hadn’t been closed and most of the contents were at the bottom of the bag. It looks like they’re understaffed, but I won’t be back. I can’t eat this sandwich. 2nd picture was after I cleaned up most of the ingredients from the bottom of the bag.
