Tried them today for the first time. We started with the Brussels which were good but not crispy if that’s what you’re looking for. They’re more baked is what it seemed like to me but the sauce that went with it was tasty. For mains we tried the ABB sandwich tossed in Nashville hot. This was a massive sandwich and it is spicy, but really good. The other main we tried was the 2 piece dark in original and it was really good too. For sides we did the watermelon with house made ricotta which was so creamy and sweet. Awesome. The other side was a Caesar salad and this is something that you could easily split and share as a side. For a first time it was good. We went later around 1:45 and it wasn’t busy so food came out fast and hot. Worth a try if you’re around it.

Excellent food, service, & ambience. Not too pricey either. Not sure how long they have been open, but Rudy Royale is located on East Bay Street, next to Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar. We are thrilled to add this to our list of favorite places downtown!

This place was amazing!! I am surprised that I had never heard of it until I saw an Instagram reel and we decided we had to go here!! Amazing!! Everyone needs to know about this place. Spread the word, this place is fantastic!! Our waiter, sorry I can’t remember his name, but he drives a moped, we asked him about parking in Charleston , he was amazing!! He needs a raise!! And the employers need to give the employees a parking allowance. They shouldn’t have to leave their shift every 4 hours to go feed a meter. Sorry, rant over…back to the food. We got the chicken sandwiches, Mac and cheese and the corn bread with butter and jam. 10 out of 10 recommend!! We will see y’all next year!!

My friends group went out for Mother’s Day brunch at Rudy Royale. This was a first visit for our party of 7. We made reservations prior to our visit and we were sat immediately earlier than our reservation even with some of party not yet present. The service was amazing! The server and runner were always ensuring we were good to go. Drinks were never empty and drink orders came quickly. The interior was well done and the sitting was comfortable. The location is ah-mazing!

Decent brunch. Dynamite bloody Mary with an amazing chicken sandwich (yes a sandwich atop a Bloody Mary). Deviled eggs and cinnamon rolls were dynamite. Eggs benedict was average–skip it and try something else.

The sweet tea was amazing and so was our server Kate. The food on the other hand, unfortunately, was disappointing. The place is all about chicken and it came out rubbery and dry. The “shareable” Mac and cheese was definitely one serving. The seafood dip was okay. For the price, I would never visit again.

Had a great experience at this restaurant. Our waitress Courtney was fantastic. She was so nice and helpful. The Gen Rudy’s chicken was great with a little spice and the wood roasted half chicken was delicious too. Highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Courtney! Great service, great food and ambiance.
