After hearing this location may have Sea Garden ties, we had to check it out. Pleasantly surprised it was very close to where we live, and it indeed took us back to Sea Garden. We started with piping hot crab and fish maw soup, then ordered off the white board special of steamed white wine sea bass (very fatty, amazing flavor, so good I can eat rice just with the fatty white wine sauce underneath), foo chow fried rice, and crispy noodle with seafood. We’ll have to try out lunch, but we know for sure we’ll be back to try other items on the menu for dinner. A very good find.

Found the famous Chinatown Sea Garden chef! We’ve missed our favorite Chinese restaurant and have never found another place we love… until now. Had some tried and true items from our prior devoted dining at Sea Garden — Almond fried chicken and beef short ribs w honey sauce. Tastes the same as we remembered it!! The sauce for the Almond Fried Chicken is one-of-a-kind — not too strong of a peanut flavor like other places. Also tried the pea shoots and shrimp fried rice — delicious. Needless to say, will return.

I’ve never had such gloppy egg-flower soup. They were out of hot and sour. Mongolian Beef was marinated so long it was too soft. And no red chilis in I! What?! I added chili crisp from the table but still not the same. Dad’s chicken dish was good.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. From the outside it doesn’t look good. Food is tasty. Huge selection of food to choose from for your taste buds. The tomato sauce chicken and creamy shrimp is a must try. You will thank me later. We will be back to try more items off the menu.
