I recently moved to the area and have already found one of the best restaurants around! I’ve been in the culinary industry for 10 years, this place has unmatched food and warm service. Definitely a place to keep coming back to.

A true Latin American Bakery! This bakery has empanadas, arepas, pastelitos, flat sandwiches and other pastries as they are made in Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, Cuba, etc all in one place. They specialize in bake goods and breakfast which is served all day long. Variety and quality of food is extraordinary, you can feel the freshness and dedication in every bite! They have options for vegans and gluten free diets also. Coffee was amazing! Service could not be better, the owner, Ruthy bakes and pays attention to every detail to ensure a great experience. I was recommended here by a friend and I was truly impressed. I can’t wait to return and try other pastelitos and more!

I am so happy we discovered this Bakery!!! I had to try something else after having 2 cakes not be what I wanted for 2 previous other events. I was BLOWN AWAY when I first saw this cake that was literally CREATED for a Miami Vice themed 60th Birthday. The creativity, attention to design, detail and love that went into this cake is fully felt! Not to mention the layers and layers of flavor. This cakes was so moist, perfectly baked with the most delicious filling of fudge on the chocolate layers and vanilla bean cream. I can not tell you how many complements we received on this cake. People were freaking out!!! I was SO HAPPY. This was a surprise for the Guest of honor and he was in shock! Ruth truly loves what she does; you can literally feel + taste it too. She actually CARES when you explain what you want or your vision and truly has a consultation with you to know exactly what you want. That was my first clue that this isn’t some dime a dozen, run of the mill place. We truly got more than I could have ever imagined. We will be using them for all of our events going forward. I will never have to worry again about a cake not being what we wanted. This was a show stopper. I gave complete creative freedom and just wanted a cake with a Miami Vice vibe. I can’t explain in words what we got, you have to look at the photos for yourself to see this. Miami Vice came to life last night. This MADE our night so special and memorable. Completely more than a cake, this created memories and pure joy. Truly one of a kind. She even built layers for the building, the whole Miami strip, my mind was blown!!!! Thank you so much. All the details matter so much and I felt this from your work.

We love it here! It’s so homey but the quality is top notch! It’s our go to spot for breakfast. The cakes and pastries are out of this world too! But the best part is the owner and staff. You are getting a family owned business experience, which is very personal and kind. Thank you Ruthy!!!

Was in the area and wanted something different tried to ham croquettes steak sandwich and guava and cheese pastry. Being from miami where there is a heavy Cuban population and being a former chef I’m extremely picky when it comes to food but they didn’t disappoint and meeting the actual owner was the chefs kiss !!! Amazing food amazing personality’s home run !!!

This bakery offers vegan empanadas and pastry’s. They also offer vegan breakfast which I’ll be back to try! I had the vegan bake empanada and the guava, pineapple and coconut pastries. Everything was delish, and the owner was a wonderful lady and had no issues explaining all the options available: Will be back for more

The girl was very nice and helpful. Best Cuban coffee we ever had for sure. The food we ordered was not correct though and we told the girl. We ordered egg and cheese arepas with spinach and bacon. My husband has the exact same but no spinach. We also ordered small home fries to share. When we got the food, the arepas we’re thick and crunchy and the cook forgot to put eggs in them. The spinach was burned and bitter so it wasn’t edible. The home fries were also burned and didn’t taste right. The girl was great and super helpful gave my husband a cake slice for the mistake. Everything was cool until we got in the car and looked at the receipt. We got charged $10 for 2 slices of bacon. The arepas said $10.99 when the menu said $7.99. we got charged for large home fries when we ordered small and couldn’t even eat them because they were burned. $52 for 2 ppl breakfast is kinda crazy. But again the girl was great.

This was my second time getting empanadas from Ruthy’s Bakery. After spending a few years in Bogota Colombia back in the late 90’s, I fell in love with empanadas. I think after trying other bakery’s empanadas. Ruthy’s is the most authentic Colombian empanadas. I got the chicken and beef in pastry and the cheese in masa. They are consistently very good. (As good as the first time) I also tried a ham coqueto which I have never had before.
