My husband and I stopped in today for the first time. The server was very friendly and attentive. The food was really good also I had flautas, and my husband steak tacos followed by an ice cream taco. We both enjoyed our meals and will Def be back. The chips and salsa were tasty too. One thing I will add is no alcohol so if your looking for margaritas this is not the place but food is yummy.

Let’s get the good out. The staff is nice friendly and a pure delight. Everything else, well that’s a different story. Chips were stake hard dry. No flavor poor texture and just bad. If someone told me they were from another table 2 days ago I would have believed them. The burrito was meh at best and poor at worst. With green olives, this part is more subjective, how could they! Why is the fact that they are green olives not listed? I have been to tons of Mexican places and only one other place has used green olives. Every other place is black olives so since this is the outlier it should be clearly noted somewhere on there menu or by the staff that the olives are green it is a distinctive taste difference and is horrible to me You may like green olives and that’s perfectly fine but it should be told to the people when the majority are black olives. The atmosphere’s generic the tables are plastic uneven and wobble like crazy. The chairs are chairs there’s nothing remarkable they suffice for the half hour that you’re there but any longer than that I fear your butt would go to sleep. All things considered I will not be returning to this establishment; serious upgrades need to be made to their interior if they want points for atmosphere. Notifications of green olives is mandatory in my world and everything else was just barely meh. With so many other Mexican restaurants around that are far superior and charge the exact same prices there is absolutely no reason for me to go to this place hopefully they get their act together because their staff is really good very nice and friendly and I hate for them to lose out.

I called El Herradero which apparently changed hands and is now called Burrito Loco. I ordered 4 tacos ($1 dollar each on taco Tuesday) and a fajita dinner. They answered the phone so fast that i didn’t realize it was technically a different restaurant until I pulled up. (All the decor inside is the same). They also didn’t give me an order total on the phone.

I’m visiting family from out of town. I wanted authentic Mexican food. What I got instead was stale chips, salsa that tasted like tomato paste. The beef chimichanga had absolutely no flavor. The food was room temperature! I suggest if you want Mexican go for real authentic mexican restaurant. The worst I’ve ever had.

Food was kind of good. Some of the onions tasted kind of spoiled. Did not like the rice at all. Seems like it was yellow rice or white rice with some type of oil or something mixed in. Beans were good but too thin. Enjoyed the bean dip though. The ground beef is not seasoned like taco meat should be. Enchiladas were good but would have preferred to have red enchilada sauce on them. Many local restaurants do not put it on anymore unless you request it and charge more for it. Some do the spicier green sauce too. Burrito was big. Might try again just to give them another chance. Guacamole and chips were okay. Guac was in a small cup for the price. Maybe have several sizes for customer to chose from. It also had no spice or flavor to it. Tomatoes, some onions, maybe cilantro was in it but needed a little more of something in it.

Pretty inoffensive taco join. Ordered a few times, pretty cute decor and service is nice. Wouldn’t be surprised if you missed it though since the outside is covered in thick brush and generally looks abandoned, the only sign they have is pretty hidden by the brush and doesn’t stand out either. Food is pretty average, wouldn’t be surprised if they said that a lot of their stuff was precooked or canned. They also really like to load up on the condiments and sour cream, would recommend ordering all sacuses on the side due to it. It’s not horrible but feels amateurish, the prices are on the cheaper side and it’s close to where I live so it evens out. They do however home make their dessert, which it is rare for most Mexican resturants in the area to have desserts to begin with. Tres Leche cake and fresh churrios are superb. Staff is nice and orders get done quick. Still recommend going if you don’t feel like cooking and need something better than Taco Bell slop but still for a cheap cost, or if you want some good Mexican sweets without going all the way downtown.

I have had bad experience with this restaurant, they seem to be racist and not treat everyone fair. I ordered the enchilada dinner for pickup went to pick up the order and they never made my order. Then told me that I called the wrong place so I called the same place that I ordered the enchilada dinner and hey it was the right place but still didn’t know what was going on. The food is not great and the atmosphere is pretty lousy. I will not be going back to this Mexican restaurant. The only reason why I even went to this restaurant is because it was close and convenient plus it’s better than the other Mexican restaurant near me. But now I’m giving a bad review. Now I had to come back home without food and I had ordered from Pia’s Italiano at least I know the food is excellent.

I love the quesabirria tacos! I usually order door dash from this place but I dined inside. The decor is great and they sell really cool sugar skull cups and other things. I will be back!

It was not the best mexican food I have had. But it was hot when it arrived at my table. They do not cater much to vegan diets.
