You feel like you are cool eating here. They had live music which added to the vibe. Markos our server was one of the best we have had making suggestions and upselling us any chance he could get (I mean that as a compliment). The food was delicious. The whole fish preparation was one of the top 5 I have had. The maguro to start was refreshing and a refined dish. The wagyu hand rolls were good but I would stick with seafood ones. The cucumber salad was the surprise of the night. So good. The only thing I would skip was the braised greens. For drinks get the japanese smoked old fashioned. Also tried the corn ice cream sandwich for dessert… thought it was a miss. It is expensive but worth it. Also come here to see celebs if you are into that. Top notch place and you will pay for it but quality is there.

restaurant that offers high-quality food and boasts a pleasant atmosphere. The establishment features a range of delicious dishes, and the service provided by the staff, particularly the friendly waitress from Macedonia, enhances the overall dining experience. However, there have been some issues with the reservation and seating service that need improvement.

We found out by chance that Paul has a restaurant in Miami Beach, so we thought we’d give it a visit after he was “evicted” from the Austin food scene. We came here with some hope because he used to cook good food, and it’s in the faena so we should expect good service too. But oh man was it ridiculously bad. We waited outside 5 mins past opening to get seated for our 7pm reservation, the girl at the front clearly does not care about who comes in first, and when “it’s your turn”, she’ll holla you over and try sit you at worst seat possible. After asking if we could seat by the window, we were given the opportunity to sit by the exit sign.

I had high expectations for this restaurant but I was simply not impressed. It is overwhelmingly pompous and the food while good is not necessarily at the level of other James Beard award winning restaurants at which I had the pleasure of dining. The experience do not justify the prices.

Awesome dishes. The server Vlad was super, great knowledge of the dishes and drinks, extremely helpful, attentive, kind, professional. Great ambience.

Celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary there, after hearing positive reviews from family and friends. Appreciated the chill vibe, sophisticated without pretension, with an ambiance allowing for both romantic coziness and pleasant conversation. Also liked the bartender’s easy going attitude and honest cocktail suggestions. The menu offered interesting takes on Filipino dishes, among others, and the presentation exquisite. Recommend sampling items from the appetizer list. The service was attentive but not intrusive. Be prepared to spend if you come hungry and valet parking is the only realistic option, but that’s typical for a Miami Beach restaurant of this caliber. We will be back (especially if they participate in Miami Spice again….)

First the restaurant it self is beautiful. A big room centered around a statue. The room while look beautiful is not the best for loud noises, the bar in the corner can at times be noisy and distracting from the food experience.

As you make your way up the marbled staircase reaching Pao’s entrance, a golden dome and oval shaped dining room welcome you. The overall modern ambiance is softened by the golden ceiling and the earthy materials (wood and moss) present throughout the dining room.
