This is a really relaxing place to eat. I enjoyed the doors open and the relaxing sounds of nature. Very historic place, it has been well taken care of. Very clean and at the time we were there, very busy.

Wonderful relaxed atmosphere in a building that dates back almost 150 years and meticulously restored. Be sure and pick up the pamphlet that talks about the history of the building and the current owners. We stopped in during a road trip after consulting Google Maps for a place to eat dinner. Glad we found this place.

I’d give the service a 5 out of 5. The staff are wonderful! They take great care in what they do. The atmosphere is a 4 out of 5. It’s very unique. It has a very indoor/ outdoor feeling to it. Overall I like the place but the food is mediocre at best. I’d say a 3 out of 5. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if I never ate there again.

This is a great place to go eat any day of the week in any type of weather. I now consider it a hiden gem that only locals want to keep local due to the charm, warm atmsophere, friendly service and good food. They have fantastic chicken liver and a very good turn on the Kentucky Hot Brown by serving it over a potato instead of bread. It was quite yummy I must say so myself.

I had the Brown Beans and Cornbread with a side of Green Beans, along with some Fried Chicken… all I can say is that someone or somebody was back in the kitchen cooking! The food was excellent!

I normally rave about this place. But my visit today was far from good. $21.00 salmon salad was missing boiled egg and bacon. Our potato skins were burnt and not edible. The waitress did take those off the bill. My boyfriend chicken strips were over cooked. Might give them another try in the future but it won’t be soon.
