Nothing better than a hot, greasy slice of cheese pizza. This is exactly what I was craving and it was truly excellent. Pretty cheap too for just a slice—I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area for a cheat treat!

Great old fashion pizza place to stop by for a slice. Atmosphere is nice there, service a bit slow, but I recommend this place for pizza lovers

They still make the same Italian subs as the previous owners. 🙂

Barely any cheese it pepperoni or even crust. Terrible pizza. City pizza down the street has 10 times better pizza & for less $1.50 each.

This place changed. Lived around the corner years ago and my girlfriend now my current wife would rave about the pizza here. Just ordered today and the pizza is not the classic Greek we used to love. Pizza barely had any cheese or toppings on it, dough was very airy…. Sad this was such an iconic place for wife and I.

Pizza was clearly not fresh, it was dry, flavorless, wasn’t even greasy. The only thing the cheese pizza is good for is a sore jaw. The garlic bread will fool you with the smell, smelled great, looked disappointing, tastes awful. The only reason why this isn’t 1 star is it was cheap, around $16 in total. Save your money for somewhere else

Fast delivery but steak & cheese sub was still cold. Skinniest sub I’ve seen, tops of the roll touched (not a lot of filling). Steak had minimal flavor & onions were raw. $3.99 brownie is a prepackaged Peggy Lawton stores sell for 80 cents. Don’t waste your money. Seems like these people have given up.

Good pepperoni pizza here. Just remember it’s a small neighborhood pizza place, so don’t expect a lot of atmosphere.

UPDATE: Sadly the family who owned Newtonville Pizza sold the business after 30 plus years….
