We have been to Boothbay Harbor many times but this was the first time we ate here. I wonder whether it was because it was so tucked in. Anyway, the food was great! Lobster and shrimp Alfredo was excellent; all the other dishes were great too. We asked to be seated outside, without realizing the spot we were put in, the last open spot, did not have any ocean breeze but under a very hot sun. I wonder whether the waitress should have warned us. anyway, we enjoyed the food even though we were toasted ourselves. next time i will check the location out before committing to the seats. also, on the second floor, there are two bathrooms available to the patrons. one of them is very very tiny and the lock does not work. they should have kept that for their own staff, because i had made up my mind not going back ever to the restaurant if i did not see the much bigger and much nicer rest room by chance. here it is a picture of the hook on the door from inside.

Corn cakes were a bit dense but the pesto on the tomato stack was amazing (as far as vegetarian options). The Tuna tartare was loved by my hubby. Kids devoured the fish n chips! Nice view. Was easy enough to get a table sat night 430p

First off, I believe it was the owner greeted us and explained some fascinating details about oysters from the Atlantic Ocean. What a plethora of knowledge graciously bestowed upon us.

Julia provided excellent service at the bar! She managed working the bar and waiting tables, very impressive. Oysters were raw Jumbo, fresh, local, and exceptional! Shucked right before your eyes and served traditionally. Consistent fresh local seafood in a fun and comfortable restaurant with great music!

Took a bit to get noticed by get noticed by the hostess and to get seated. After receiving menus it was a good half an hour or more for someone to come over and ask for a drinks and order. BUT…. The seafood Alfredo was definitely worth the wait, it was very creamy and delicious. A bit more pricey than I would have liked to have spent. The Bermuda triangle cocktail was very smooth And will definitely be a favorite. Staff was very friendly, our waiter actually happened to be the bartender also and he was very apologetic for the long wait. Very pretty view of the Harbor.

Great service and you can’t beat the view. The fiesta corn cakes are a MUST, they were unbelievably good. The grilled romaine salad and lobster roll were also great.

Wowzer! We had a fantastic food experience from this place. We used takeout for both of our meals (yup it was so good we ate here twice) and the service was friendly and fast! Cannot recommend more the fish tacos, absolutely delicious and well seasoned. The clam chowder was also some of the best I’ve ever had. Lots of delicious food here, and well worth the visit!

It is deceiving large establishment with upstate seatings in and outside. However while having a large menu ranging from mac&cheese to sushi, the food is lack of flavor, big time! We had feel-and-eat shrimps which was way to salty, so was the gumbo (I can’t finish 3/4 of the bowl)

Best place to enjoy lobster in Boothbay. Traveling from Philadelphia to Acadia National Park and needed to spot for lunch. I had a lobster panini she had a lobster roll. Great decision. En-route to Acadia National Park and lobster was high on the list of things to enjoy during our trip mine oyster was the first taste during the trip. Recommend to anybody. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the second floor is where it’s all happening. Full menu, great service staff. Who was delicious.

This place is amazing. The selection is huge and every meal is great. Sounds like a staged review but I’m just a normal semi regular customer. I go 3-4 times per summer. Just had “Jacked Colossal Shrimp” blackened in a cast iron pan. Not spicy blackened, literally slightly blackened in pan with old bay and Caribbean jack spices.. Wicked good. Oyster selection is the best. They have 4 or 5 type. Most local. No disappointment here. 5 star across the board.
