Even though it was for one night I enjoyed it. Near enough for where we needed to go and nice enough to enjoy breakfast.

(From Rhonda Boyce) I just want to comment on the female bartender with the cute ponytails. She really knows her stuff! She recommended a delicious drink for my friend & me for our first round. For the second round, she made one of the best frozen margaritas I’ve ever had! And the kids enjoyed the Shirley Temple she made for them. We are looking forward to seeing her again next year if she hasn’t gone back to Tennessee yet…

The food here is excellent and the pricing cannot be beaten! The staff is friendly, they are welcome and, and they are excellent at promoting all events as well as specials within the restaurant. Speaking of specials, they run quite a few amazing specials from breakfast to dinner brunch and all meals in between. Wednesdays and Fridays are peak time to hit up the public house especially if you’re looking for some comedy to go with your dinner. The comedy battles and roast presented by powder Jacobson crew or a perfect coupling with this fantastic establishment. Don’t just simply dine make an evening of it grab a beverage and get a couple laughs on the house… Or affordably cheap anyways it goes great with a dinner for two.

Absolutely awful experience for a Mother’s Day brunch. Quality and variety of food was mediocre, displayed sloppily, and service was disorganized and haphazard. Given the poor quality, the brunch was way overpriced. Even worse, no prices were posted anywhere, in the lobby or on the web, that would have let you know this was meant to be different from their standard Sunday brunch. Staff were unapologetic. We just discovered the reason that in the 30 years our family has lived in Reading, no one could ever remember having gone to this restaurant to eat. We all regret we decided to try it this year!

This place was probably once thriving. We ate here because the hotel gave us some coupons to appease us since the air conditioning in the room was broken. There were 3 tables with guests. Service took nearly an hour for 3 appetizers. Food was fine (wings, flatbread pizza and scallops wrapped in bacon), but SLOW.

Not far off of highway 222/422 and you can see the Reading Inn sign when on highway but they should have a billboard sign on highway to advertize which exit to get OFF. The RESTAURANT at the Inn is like a pub sports bar with extra tv’s around… Yet quaint and sorta quiet on non sport nights. Can get anything on menu for take out. Ordering the special is usually a good choice and saves you about 3dollars compared to other entrees. Nice atmosphere and good food. The interior r’eminds me of Old German style construction . Waitress very friendly prompt and attentive. Caesar salad best I ever ate! Will return!

Terrible service. Over 20 minutes for the waiter to even come take our order and then over an hour for our food which was then under cooked. There was a table of 3 waiting for their bill and maybe 10 people at the bar. We were told the waiter was very busy and couldn’t take our drink order.
