Amazing!!! Our new favorite place in Kingston. Amazing food, wine, service, vibes. Can’t wait to return. Favorite dishes were the eggs and the gigante beans. Also dog friendly patio and plenty of gluten free options!

Visited with a few friends to share some small bites and we weren’t disappointed. Some favorites included the burger (complete with cornichons) , tomatoes, little gem salad, and crab with peas. The whitefish is not to be missed! The service and wine selection were just as good as the food. We will definitely be returning!

The food was better than I could have possibly hoped for, especially for the price, and if you appreciate natural wine this place was a god send. I plan to go again and this time sit inside. The decor was inspired and the music lovely. If you’re looking for a place to drink quality wine and have interesting-and more importantly-good bites in Kingston, Sonder is the place to be.

Exceptional. best food & natural wine program in Kingston, if not all of upstate. Vibe is unparalleled. Servers were knowledgeable & passionate. don’t miss the house made bread and butter, butter lettuce salad with cheese & vin (serious umami bomb and perfect crisp with the bread crumbs), and the choc lava cake (light yet indulgent and fresh with the berries & airy whipped cream).

First experience here with a friend . we Sat all the way In the front in a cute little alcove By the bar . Very eclectic atmosphere and pretty with lights and candles. Food was really good.. And wine was also.. although very small portions. Pork loin was delish with cherry purree.. no side dish.. no salad or bread that was included in the meal. Our main problem was through the entire night they were doing Construction in the back with the electric saw running very Loudly the whole night.. We were curious why construction could not have been completed or stopped prior to Prime hours of operation. It was extremely loud that we could not hear our own conversation way up front… so it really ruined the atmosphere and experience for us.

Great spot for food. We had a terrific meal here. Everything was very well seasoned and tasted bright and fresh. Service was great as well. We look forward to coming again in the future. Also, open on Monday nights…when not much else is!

I think this is the best restaurant in Kingston! The food is phenomenal every time, no matter what you order. Get the marinated eggs and whatever salads there are. The bread is made in house too – get it to sop up all the leftover flavors and savor every last bite. I actually wish they were open right now cause I’m getting hungry and I’d go there for lunch. The wine selection is special and diverse, every time I visit Gabe recommends a glass or a bottle that knocks my socks off and makes me appreciate life and colors better. Everyone who works there is sweet and humble and cool and it feels good to support them. This place is it!
